This tour was great but the food was poor so bring snacks and a pillow because you get tired, also ear plugs, and a battery for your phone, the tour like I said is great and informative, just get the sleep you deserve!

Hello, I don't know where your hostel is, but unless you speak Ukrainian and can orient well in Kiev I'd recommend taxi. I would not rely on public transport in Kiev, unless I have lots of time. My advice would be to ask... More

Make sure you take a warm jacket, hat and gloves and you'll be fine. Visiting during the winter has the advantage of the leaves having fallen off the trees and so you get to see a lot more of the abandoned towns and villages. More
