Full-Day Tour of Chernobyl and Prypiat from Kyiv

1,255 reviews
Visiting Chernobyl, the nuclear power plant whose 1986 explosion was one of the world’s worst radio-ecological disasters, isn’t permitted unless by guided tour. This full-day trip from Kiev offers a hassle-free excursion and the essential commentary needed to understand the site and its catastrophic event. Explore the Chernobyl exclusion zone, and visit abandoned nearby towns, including Pripyat. Dinner at an eco-clean canteen is also included for your convenience.

I had very interesting visit in museum of History of Toilet in Kiev. When I came I decided to choose English (not Ukrainian  language, my native language) like a joke. I speak English good. To my surprise a guide (Vladislav) immediately turn to English from Ukrainian. It was excellent excursion that I ever had. Thanks a lot, I understood everything and had a good time in the museum. Besides, guide also knows Russian, Polish, French. Not so many museums have such language choose. I think its perfect for the museum to have such service.

I visited this place after seeing reviews on here. I wasn’t disappointed, but I wasn’t awestruck at the same time. Yes they have the Guinness record for the biggest toilet collection and the videos were quite interesting, but overall it was good but not somewhere I’d rave about. It’s only a small privately owned museum and the owners have really done their homework. Well done. If you’re stuck for things to do in Kiev and are sick of seeing anything religious, yes visit here. You may learn a few things of unimportance but interesting.

We spend so much of our time 'there' that it deserves some attention, doesn't it? While this may seem to lack seriousness as a subject for a museum, you'll change your mind after your visit and fully acknowledge this necessary, but greatly unsung aspect of civilization. Really interesting, and of concern to everyone! Informative, yes, with a funny (tasteful) little touch. Thanks to the helpful guide. I recommend you spend 1 hour there - more than you would normally in the John (Harrington!). You will not regret it.
