Great place in the center of megapolis

Quite big territory with different kinds of plants, not many of them are very rare or unique, but it is still a good place to be, to walk, to run etc. Price for the entrance is... read more

A popular place for locals to have photo-sessions and calm walks. Impossible to find if you are a tourist as it is not well presented. Worth a try if you are in Kiev for a considerable amount of time.

Sadly the greenhouse was closed when we arrived -- even though it was supposed to be open according to hours they posted! Most of the place can be designated as a park (a pretty one, no doubt), with a section or two serving as your typical botanical garden. There were some rooms with birds and reptiles (need to pay an... More

So, first of all - there are two botanical gardens in Kyiv. This one, the larger one, is outside of the city center and off the banks of the Dniepr. It's a decent garden, but VERY large and the not very well mapped out for visitors - so prepare to be lost and to spend a couple hours here. For... More

Favourite place to visit in spring. I am always excited by abloom trees (lilac, magnolias etc.). People living in Kiev have a joke, that every spring it`s a must for women to take a pictire "how I smell the lilac :) Honestly, If you are tired of bustling city and hectic days, just spend a day in this garden. Here... More

Returned here in 2016 after a 10 year absence. The Botanical Garden remains just as pretty as I remembered it. Extensive grounds encompass a small church as well as the larger Vydubychi Monastery. Buy some ice cream and a soft drink or cotton candy and enjoy everything that the Botanical Garden has to offer. Admission is 30 Hryvnia per adult... More

I spent a few hours here just wandering through the gardens. A lovely display of tulips and many others. There are also great views of the city and Robert to be had in places. There is a tropical plant house, orchid house and a small bird house.

You could.literally spend days looking at the flowers and still not see them all. Truly spectacular place in a city close to 10 million in population.

This is a larger of two botanical gardens in Kiev. It is especially beautiful in spring (May), when lots of people crowd the many paths of this park. The condition of the park is not excellent, but it's definitely worth a visit due its abundant greenery, panoramic view on the left bank of river Dnieper and many places where you... More
