This is a truly amazing place. I doubt you will believe there is anything in the carious exhibits until you look throughout the microscopes. How any of these exhibits was made amazes me. That they are all doe by one artist is truly fantastic. Put...More

This unusual museum is on the Lavra grounds. It has a separate admission charge but is very low. The miniatures are viewed through magnifying glasses. Many are so small they cannot be seen with the naked eye. The building is an old style and the...More

I actually enjoyed this place but was a strange place. I would like a little bit better presentation. Better microscopes etc. Go if you have nothing to do or are close by.

Come visit the Museum of Miniatures and see the masterpieces of the talented Mykola Siadrystyi. Siadrysyi was able to create fine-scale miniatures, some smaller than a poppy seed, with incredible detail and accuracy. The most popular work of Ukrainian master is a shoed flea which...More

A wee gem (nudge nudge) of a museum in Lavra - this was definitely unexpected and was a showcase of amazingly sculpted miniatures, some like 0.6 of a millimetre high! For a very low price you can marvel at some very detailed and expertly crafted...More
