Plenty of people at the AviaFest. Stalls mainly selling food and toys this is a family day out, but by queuing you can get inside some exhibits, Tu142 Bear, Il-62 etc. 80+ cold war era planes present add another dozen for the Fest An-2s An26 etc all low key but enjoyable.

Even iff you're not interested in aviation this is still a great place to visit.. We spend about 2 hours there. Some planes and helicopter can be seen at the inside. Food and drinks abailable.

The Aviation Museum is a real nice place to visit if you're interested in (military) aviation or if you're with kids. All planes are stationed in open air, so better plan the visit when the weather is nice. The museum is located close to Airport Zhuliany, so not close to the city center There are at least 50 planes and... More

Excellent large outdoor aircraft museum. Located at the terrain of Kiev-Zhulyany airport, the easiest way to reach it is by taxi. A great collection of Soviet military and civil planes among which a few prototypes. It also has a small souvenir shop. Entrance is very cheap and some aircraft (like the Il-62) can be visited inside. Buy the extra tickets... More

This museum is a bit out of the way, so you'll need to get there by taxi or bus (not handy to the subway), but it's worth it if you have the time. I'm not a plane geek, but I'm an avid photographer and I had a ball here. You can take photos outside old planes. You can take photos... More

It is located a bit far from the city, but if you are interested in planes, especially old soviet planes, it surely has things to offer to you!

I was there twice. 5 years ago and in past year (2015) Most of aircrafts are from the past century, but they are still interesting and some of them look very majestically. If you like aviation, it is the best place to visit in kiev. Price was lower then 1$

Excellent collection of some rare aviation machines. Those who have any interest in the sky will have an excellent time and will have memories for a lifetime. Can compare this to the Henry Ford museum in Detroit but with planes.

Extensive collection of cold war former Soviet military and Civilian aircraft. Ideal place to visit if the weather is good. Little areas to shelter if it rains or in high winds. Limited description of each aircraft in English. Each of the aircraft in which one is permitted entry is dominated by a babouschka, beware of incurring their wrath if one... More
