The main street in the city. Many small independent restaurants with reasonable prices. Many brew their own beers which were better than the international brands. It seems that everyone in Kiev walls down the street in the evening and at weekends there were some street entertainers. The shops were of a good quality but are more expensive than in the... More

We stayed very near to Khreshchatyk Street and found it a good place to wander an soak up the atmosphere. There were various street artists and plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy along the wide pavements.

This is the beating heart of Kiev. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Street entertainers. An ideal place for people watching. I went there on a Sunday evening when part of the street is pedestrianised. It was great sitting outside a cafe on a warm summer's night eating croissants and drinking tea and watching all the entertainment.

Center of maybe one of the most beautiful capitals of the world. Old architecture, on Sundays the whole st. is closed for people ONLY walkers, left & right of the street there are many litle cozy cafes-bars- restaurants as well as expensive super gourmet ones. Love it.

This is an interesting Boulevard in the center of Kiev. There areonuments, street perform performers, artists and numerous shops. There are also panhandlers, homeless, pimps and "hooligans". It is a very safe area, loaded with numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. It is kept very safe because it is where most tourists end up when in Kiev. I have walked it... More
