The Nikola Pašić Square is one of the central public squares in Belgrade and is named after Nikola Pašić, who served as mayor of Belgrade, prime minister of Serbia and later, Yugoslavia. The most prominent features of the square are the Dom sindikata complex, Bezistan shopping area, the Nikola Pašić Square Fountain and the obligatory statue of its namesake, the monument to Nikola Pašić. It’s a beautiful landmark, although I didn’t think much of the many Socialist Realism architecture of some of the buildings around the square.

I was disappointed when I visited Republic Square (Trg Republike) and finding Nikola Pašića Square (Trg Nikole Pašića) was a wonderful surprise.

This large square, filled with daylight, is worth seeking out. There are large beautiful buildings around the outside of the square and a fabulous fountain at the centre. The ground is covered in a wonderful tile, that makes it stand out from many ordinary squares in other cities. There is also a monument to Nikole Pašića in the centre of the square.

I have photos to add but the format for adding a first review does not permit them.

Nothing really unusual here, a small square and a big statue. The fountain is nice, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go see this place.

Although not big, this centrally located square is dedicated to the very important man of Serbian politics and has a very lovely fountain.

We were pretty much in a hurry and just dropped here for a quick look. Nikola Pašić Square looked really nice with its fountains.

The square is named after one of the most famous people and politicians in serbian history. The place is nearby the Parlament so it is quite crowded

The square, has a fountain which had no water in it and wasn't running. The statue of Nikola Pasic, a great Serbian statesman in it as well.
Wasn't overly impressed. Take a photo if your going past.

The reason to visit this square is to view the statue of Nikola Pasic, the historically notable Serbian statesman. There is also a modern fountain in the square which is fed by water which flows into it along a pathway about 15 metres from it. Personally, I'd recommend visiting the square to see the fountain. It is a short 200 metre walk from the Parliament Building.

After visiting the Terrazije Fountain, we briefly stopped here. Our Guide explained the contributions of the man whose statue is at the center of this small square. This man is Nikola Pasic.

Also located here is the Fountain. The sound and the sight of the water of this Fountain made me relaxed and enjoyed the moment.

This was one of our many stops during the 20th century free walking tour, where we learnt all about Nikola Pasic, (essentially the father/founder Yugoslavia), his monument/statue has pride and place in the centre of the square, there is also an architecturally beautiful fountain within the square that is very popular in summer.
