I expected for Tito to have a bigger and more impressive Mausoleum, taking into account that he was dictator of Yugoslavia for such a long time. Having said that, I would still recommend it to everyone visiting Belgrade.

Tito was a hero to many of his people, they have created this lovely Mausoleum to him. Tito was loved or despised by government leaders on down to the paupers of Europe. Visit this place and see the admiration of countrymen.

Bus from the city centre gets you here in 25 minutes. Situated on a hill side, you walk up to the main hall of the site. Lovely modernist design. Once you get the reasonably priced tickets, you can go to whichever part you want. We...More

House of Flowers is the resting place of Josip Broz Tito (1892–1980), the President of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and his wife Jovanka. You can see here Tito’s grave, Tito’s presents, personal objects, as well as many items from the Yugoslavia era.

The Tito Mausoleum is now under reconstruction. You can still visit his grave, and a building where many items from his life are on display. Well worth a visit even now.

It's a long walk up the hill to the mausoleum and once you get there, there are not many displays. There are the graves of both Tito and his wife. There's a display of batons that he collected and a few other things. If you're...More

The Mausoleum is yet another treat to witness how the mighty General helped to keep the country together and thus it has reached to this stage today where so many youngsters can be inspired to achieve and do great feats.
