I'm not sure if I would feel the same way about the fountain, if it wasn't directly next to one of the most esthetically beautiful building in all of Belgrade. The Moscow hotel is simply stunning, and the fountain next to it compliments the area!

The tower is close to the beautiful Moscow Hotel and was built in 1860 when Prince Milos Obrenovic returned to the throne. It's more of a tower than a fountain. Our guide told us that the tower was one of three in Belgrade used by the Turks when they used aqueducts to bring water to the city. The towers were used to increase the water pressure much like modern day water towers do. It's definitely worth a photo on your tour of Belgrade.

It’s a beautiful fountain remembering Prince Milos return to thorn. You willl find a lot of youngsters sit around the fountain and enjoying their chat. From the design it looks like in its golden times, it was served for quenching the thirst of visitors to the city. It’s in right in front of Moscov Hotel
