Serbian Heritage Tours led by Snezana Bulatovic was the best 12 hour tour of my life. Snezana, who is a very talented well read and passionate individual took us to Titel, Serbia to meet with the priest where my grandfather was baptised as a child. The priest took us into his home to meet his charming wife, and then proceeded to walk us through the downtown area of Titel passing the school and into the library where we studied some history of Titel. We said our goodbyes to the priest and traveled through the farmland on our way to Novi Sad. Along the way we stopped and had a wonderful lunch at a place Snerzana suggested....it was super! Novi Sad, is where my last living relative (died about 3 years ago) resided for most of her life. Novi Sad and Belgrade are very very interesting big cities. Thanks Snerzana, you found my grandfather and gave him life with your wonderful research and tour. Gene Cavich

I took a 12-hour tour with Snezana Bulatovic of Serbian Heritage Tours to explore the area to which my great-great-great grandfather and grandmother emigrated to from Germany in the late 1790s: Crvenka (then, Tscherwenka). Previously, I had tried to plan this trip myself, starting in Budapest, but there is no way I could have done this trip as efficiently nor as effectively as having a personal guide/translator and driver to pave the way. Snezana opened up new doors of research for me and provided information I had never before heard in my fairly extensive research. At first, the cost seemed high, but trust me, had I tried this by myself, I would have spent many more days in transit, plus lodging and then no translator or specialist, resulting in far less information.

As a guide Snerzana is extremely knowledgeable. She is also passionate and uninhibited in sharing that knowledge . She is highly educated, reads widely and has lived for long stretches outside Serbia. As a result, whilst she is proud of Serbia and its past glories , she is also critical in her analysis of events. Over three days, she showed the two of us around Belgrade and took us to (stunning) Studeniza and Zica in the South and to Novi Sad and Subotica in the North. We travel internationally a lot and count Snerzana among the very best of our guides. Thank you Snerzana. Oriane and Richard Hext August 2019.

After spending literally months researching tours on line and reading countless reviews for Serbia, mainly Belgrade and Novi Sad, we feel fortunate to have found Snezana Bulatovic , Serbian Heritage Tours. We have had experience in both poorly executed and well carried out tours in other parts of the world and we are thrilled to express that Snezana exceeded our expectations. She catered an experience just for us. With her deep knowledge of history and Serbian culture she satisfied our curiosity and peaked our interest for a future trip. She also provided her expertise in researching my older siblings’ roots for us to see firsthand where they were raised, attended school, church and lived. She possesses priceless insight and has connections that gave us great value in the tour she implemented. We appreciated that she uses only professional drivers in very nice vehicles. We felt safe, comfortable and very satisfied. We plan to return with our own children and will have her design another tour and have her research further into our own Serbian heritage. TLDR: Her tour was highly personalized not commercialized and worth every dollar (or dinar or euro)

We had a three hour walking tour around the city of Belgrade. This tour was of the highest quality. The tour guide, Snezana Bulatovic ,from Serbian Heritage Tours, is highly educated and extremely informative about the history of Serbia. My husband had already done a lot of research on the history of the region, but he still found the tour to be extremely interesting and to cover material he had not come across in his own extensive preparation for our travel. The guide focused on topics and sites that were of particular interest to us. This is no ordinary tour. It is not a tour just for tourists. It is for people genuinely interested in the history and culture of the region. It is well worth the cost to be part of a tour from someone who is extremely well researched. I cannot recommend this guide enough! She is very well qualified for her occupation. She is not just someone running tours for money. This is her profession and she has taken it very seriously. She has spent her adult life preparing for this role!
