We had the pleasure to be the first group as this business was just opened and the electrical scooters had arrived a few days earlier.
Marko, the owner, is a friendly and generous guy who knows Belgrade very well. Being an ambitious young entrepreneur, he saved up for the scooters while working in the US - so he speaks perfect English.
Being a group five, we opted for a full day of riding. Before leaving Marko’s office location where we had met in the morning, we were given a short intro on how to ride and what to look out for. The route of the day was planned to go through the city and along the Sava river passing by a newly constructed area and several bridges.
A very nice ride which mostly goes on bike paths and allows to see the scenery while also getting a good understanding of the changing landscape - from urban classic to modern and many green spaces - along the Sava river.
Our destination was Ada Ciganljia, an island park on the Sava river with a lake where Belgraders spend their free time doing sports - swimming, biking, tennis and also wakeboarding on the lake’s cable park, to mention a few posibilites.
A bike path goes around the lake and passes many of the nice beach bars where we had a longer break while enjoying a swim, a typical Serbian lunch and a few beers before heading back to the city.
Marko took well care of us during our day and made conversation easy explaning all about local traditions, sports, business and travels. He also had much good advice on interesting activities, sights and restaurants in Belgrade.
I certainly recommend Marko for your next full day discovery of Belgrade on e-scooters! Have fun!
