Our first private tour and we were delighted with the experience. The tour was fast-paced, which was fine for us - be ready at 8 am. We saw so much more than if we would have tried it on our own. We were lucky to have a friendly guide, Michael. He was knowledgeable and entertaining, with excellent driving skills. Our plan of visiting Romania during COVID-19 end well, and I hope to discover more in the next years.…

Strongly recommended if you want to know more about the history of communism in Romania. What makes the tour particularly fascinating was the passion of my guide Cristi that explained the particularities of communism in Romania and the realities from nowadays.

I'd definitely recommend this for couples or solo travelers. Balkans are usually underrated where you can find jewels like Veliko Tarnovo.

We took two separate private tours with this company. Four of us took the two-day tour to Transylvania and the castles. Then my husband and I took a 1-day tour to Bulgaria. Our tour guide on both trips was Claudia. She has an incredible knowledge of the area and because of her and these tours, we learned so much about the history of Romania and Bulgaria. If we had not taken these tours and just stayed in Bucharest we would not understand that part of the world. Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was look, observe, and absorb the information. The hotel we stayed at on the two-day tour was upscale. Ioana was reliable in answering my numerous questions when I booked the tours and was flexible. If you have the ability to do a tour, take the two-day Transylvania tour and ask for Claudia as your guide. You will not be disappointed.…
