It is not my first time to Captive Escape Room, and for sure it will not be the last. This time I was visiting with 2 adults and 2 Children aged 11 and 12. Children knew about Thanos and the infinity stones, so it was interesting for them too.
I like the friendly vibe and coziness and the rooms are really putting your brain at work.
It is appropriate for Children accompanied by adults, but as well for friends, couples and even business, since în Dec'21 we rented the whole place and organised a hybrid team building for 24 People (7 online and 17 phisically there).

We entered two rooms. Everyone who chose to enter the second one received a discount for it so it was cool. The place was clean. As I know is one of the cheapest escape rooms in town even if the rooms are more complex and interesting than they are in other escape rooms I visited before. We all had fun and found our photos on the facebook page.

Very nice experience. I went together with friends, we have already completed 4 rooms and our goal is t try all of them.
Staff is very friendly and they manage to fond the perfect balance between helping and giving you a small push when you got stuck in the room.
I highly recommend.

The game master was a cranky teenager who did not really make us feel welcome. The room itself was pretty boring: the types of puzzles repeat themselves in all of the Captive rooms, which is obviously dissapointing. There are way better rooms in Bucharest that you can go to, that cost the same ammount of money.

To begin with, i wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Tha game master ruined the whole experience and made me and my friends wish we never came there. Everytime we had something to ask regarding to the game, and by that i mean clues, he was not giving us any usefull information. I remember that at one puzzle we got stuck really bad and instead of helping us, he used our last 3 clues by telling us that what ee are doing it s wrong, the puzzle it s not in the right direction, we should change something. I know it s wrong, since nothing is happening, thanks for the tip. He just wasted 30 minutes of our game, telling us nothing usefull and in the last minute of the game (literally the last minute) he gave us the solution. I did not say he had to help us by offering us the solution but a clue does not mean telling us we are doing it wrong. A clue is something to help you find the right way and answer. All said, he was just frustrated because our team was late, although he was the one who called me one day before the game and told me that despite the fact that the game is scheduled at 5:30 PM, he wants us to come later, at 6:00 PM. We were late 10 minutes because we couldn’t find a parking lot and he was all about drama, calling me and telling me that the game was supposed to start at 5:30 PM. I mean...you rescheduled it, ok?
All these being said, it s a pity the games are cool and interesting but everything is ruined by the game master who does not know how to act in what concerns his clients

Had a blast. Was my first time in an escape room and honestly I had a great time. The staff were helpful. I also really appreciated that everybody was wearing masks, even inside the escape rooms. 10/10 would come back again.

Did the James Bond and Coca-Cola rooms. The Coca-Cola one is great for people just starting to put their skills to the test with escape rooms (just like us). Puzzles are fun and the room itself is decently decorated with iconic Coca-Cola themed objects.
The James Bond room is slightly more difficult, tasks are more diverse. Again, the room itself is ticking most of the boxes when it comes to its decoration. We've added a few escape rooms to our 'portfolio' already but James Bond remains one of my favourites.

We had a great experience at Captive Escape Room. The staff is really kind and fun to talk to. The rooms are really well made that you could actually think you are trapped in the story of the room 😂

The rooms have an interesting decor, the puzzles are not easy at all and the hints that you request don’t reveal the entire solution of a puzzle, but only a relevant part. Also you can receive only 5 hints per game, but it’s been enough for us. We escaped every time we played and this made us come back for a new game.

Great fun for anybody that enjoys puzzles. It was my first escape room experience and I loved it. The room was very well made. Everything looked so profesionally made and all the puzzles were mechanical. I would strongly reccomand this place.
