We two couple .. we booked with Maria in her company “Romania motorcycle tours”
We took 7 days riding, Maria always kept all she promised . Start with the vehicle how were waiting at the airport and took as to the hotel , the meeting at the hotel immediately when we arrived, the delivery of the motorcycles and a special and detailed explanation of our route , we rented two GS 1250 motorcycles, the motorcycles were in excellent mechanical condition just like new, the route planning was excellent And including points of attraction and points of interest that every history and nature lover can appreciate and enjoy, the nature, the villages, the mountains around and the green fields with the flowing water were like riding in a dream. When we asked for special requests such as a small route change or specific help, we received an immediate response with a lot of goodwill, the hotels were charming and included a varied breakfast, we came back with amazing experiences and photos that we will never forget, we are sure that we will continue to travel on the many routes that the company .... offers, I highly recommend it to everyone !!!

I did the Explore the Balkans guided tour in Sept 19 with these guys and enjoyed just about every moment of it.
There were only a few of us in the group as a large number had pulled out but the tour still went ahead. Even though we went through so many countries in the 16 days I never felt rushed at any time.
Our guide was very capable and very keen to make sure that we were all getting the most out of the trip and our arrangements were in order. All the border crossings went smoothly too as all the paperwork was well prepared.
The tour was well priced although you do have to pay for your own meals & beverages. This was ok as we were a small group but I can see it could get tricky with bigger groups. The main challenge for us was in a couple of non-euro countries we needed to pay with cash but we managed ok in the end.
Definitely recommended if you’re keen for an insight on what the Balkans has to offer.

My wife and I did the Tranfagarasan guided tour in mid September. It was an absolutely incredible experience. Maria, was so accommodating, answering all of our questions and making sure all the details of the trip were taken care of.
We rented a BMW 1250GS for the ride, it was in perfect condition with everything working just as it should.
The trip was an adventure of a lifetime, riding through some of the most beautiful scenery and amazing geography on great roads, stopping in quaint villages for a cappuccino. The hotels were great and in beautiful locations. Everyone we met on our journey was so nice. Our guide; Victor was so knowledgeable about the history of the places we went, we didn't just see the sights but actually was immersed in the history of the places. Victor is a great rider and had us on some of the most amazing roads I've ridden.
My wife and I were so excited about this trip for months, we had no idea how amazing it would be, every aspect exceeded our expectations. I wish I could rate it 7 stars.

Just home from spending a fantastic time riding the Carpathian mountains with Romania motorcycle tours. From first point of contact, Maria was extremely helpful and fast to reply to our emails. From arriving in Bucharest to departure, Maria and her tour guides looked after us all impeccably. Our bike (new Bmw gs700) was an upgrade from our original request and was a great choice of motorcycle for the tour, thank you. The hotels chosen for tour are first class, some of which being the best I have ever stayed in ! This is a beautiful tour in an amazing country organised and guided by a great company and friendly team Thank you so much.

Just returned from the Carpathian guided tour with Maria and co. Having toured Europe extensively over the past few years this was my first “guided” tour and I must say the experience was fantastic. Maria and team were highly professional, experienced and very personable.
13 of us rented BMW’s ranging in size from the latest model GS1250Adv. to GS 700’s all in excellent condition and well maintained. The routes.accommodations, and scenery were amazing with a wide variety of roads including the amazing Transfagarasan and Transalpina passes, these passes should be on every motorcyclists bucket list - truely epic. The Romanian people were very friendly and welcoming and the country itself was facinating. Still in its natural state post soviet rule but in the process of rejuvenation thanks to EU money. So if you are considering visiting this fantastic country don’t delay as it may not be recognised in a few years time.
Can’t speak highly enough of Maria and her team particularly our guides Mike and Paul who were brilliant cramming as much as they could into such a short tour. Maria was at the airport to meet us and stayed with us in the support vehicle throughout the tour providing a more personal touch. She and her team are very friendly making you feel welcome and part of the experience right from the beginning. On our final night when the rest of the team had left she took my wife and myself to a very nice restaurant which I felt was over and beyond what we expected but was a very pleasant experience.
Highly recommended and looking forward to returning with RMT for the more extended Balkans tour. Don’t hesitate with this company they will make your holiday an unforgettable experience.

10 of us hired bikes (3 x GS LC, 2 x GS AC and 5 x F800/700) and went on a 8 day riding/9 day self guided tour at the end of May 2017. We have travelled extensively over the last 12 years and we were looking for something a bit different and a more 'authentic' experience. Suffice it to say, our expectations were exceeded in all areas and we had a really memorable trip. The heading says it all, and we will definitely return.
Maria in RMT organised the hotels and bike hire and she chose very well.indeed - everywhere was very central, so no need for taxis when going out in the evening. She was always available on mobile and returned any calls/emails promptly.
Roads can be fairly good, severely potholed or even disappear suddenly into gravel/mud tracks. Full on throttle overtaking on truck infested single carriageways reminds you of old skills. To navigate, you need a combination of Garmin (check map version currently 2018.4, or bring your own), Google Maps and good old paper maps depending on where you are going to. The challenges above are what makes this trip so rewarding and different.
Bucharest and the regional towns are similar to any other European country, nice squares, bars and restaurants everywhere. Prices are very inexpensive. People were very welcoming and you felt safe walking around. The countryside is much poorer with 40's style subsistance agriculture.
The EU is funding infrastructure everywhere and no doubt in 10 years time Romania will be homogenised the same as everywhere else.
So go before this happens to a charming country - RECOMMENDED and thanks, Maria/Christine.

It was a customized tour with very short notice, but Romanian Motorcycle Tour know their stuffs so well and co connected, within a week, they are able to plan for you the best route considering the length of my vacation (shorter than typical), preferences (mountain passes and less crowded cities) and safety (regarding to prior experiences), which is impressive.
I feel privileged to have use Romanian Motorcycle tour assistance for my venture into exotic worlds.

Maria and her team are very well organised, yet flexible for changing circumstances. I hadn't motorcycled in over 20 years so this was a scary prospect but they all took great care of me, including the other more seasoned riders. The Bucharest hotel was atmospheric, well-priced and in a good spot close to sightseeing by walking around. All other hotels on the route were of high quality and much nicer than expected, with a range from old and quaint in Brasov to modern. The rides were delightful and the mountain scenery spectacular. We were very lucky with the weather which was glorious the whole time. I would love to do another tour and cannot recommend this highly enough!

This all started with myself wanting to go, and before long i had a group of friends, all of which are BMW CLUB MEMBERS wanting to go with me. So we had a group tour.
The tour itself was absolutely amazing, the places of interest that we visited where first class. The Transfargarsan and Transalpina were brilliant. Dracula's castle was amazing. All 13 of us along with a French couple, a Israeli couple, and a New Zealand Guy made up the 2019 group. And what a holiday this was, life changing.
The hotels were absolutely beautiful and top notch, no-one could have complained.
On to the staff of RMT
Maria the ceo of the company, and all of her staff could not have achieved any higher recommendation from any of us. Fantastic, very friendly, totally helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. What else can i say "ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FULL MARKS TO ALL OF YOU. YOU ARE AT THE TOP OF YOUR GAME"
