The baggage people are awful and unfriendly and try and charge you for a big bag when you have a small one. No-one speaks English to help with directions or tickets; strange considering it's a very international station with international departures constantly. The lady at...More

Gara de nord is just your ordinary station. It might be old but it hasn't been kept to it's real architectural and cultural value, and this is sad. It has some small vendors, exchanges and a variety of places but also it's variety of beggars....More

I was very scared to come here based on the review I saw, but it's just an average European station. Come here, get to your train, when you come back go straight to the metro, and enjoy! The train to Sinaia was on time, the...More

This place is unforgettable for me because there is the dirtiest toilet in the world in Gara de Nord.

Signage is not the best here and as very little English was spoken this resulted in us wasting a long time in the wrong ticket line. There are plenty of places to eat as well as a tucked away left luggage. I would also point...More

A grand old railway station. All platforms on ground level with no steps - apart from up to the trains themselves. I note someone has said there are no ramps, but I've trundled my heavy suitcase up one at the front of the railway station...More

No elevators or ramps, not a sinle one. I don't know how the disabled get around. Be prepared to drag your bags up and down the numerous stairs and help your physically impared loved ones. And VERY FEW ticket agents speak English. I learned to...More

This place was easily navigable for somebody who speaks English and not Romanian. There are very few places to sit and wait. We were here on a public holiday so this station was quite busy with a lot of students travelling out of the city...More
