This gallery has many different styles of art as well as a specifically Romanian exhibit. Give yourself plenty of time and wear comfortable shoes. The exhibit of portraits was my favorite! My husband, who is not really an art lover also enjoyed our visit here.

A much better gallery than the Contemporary. Like many Eastern-European art galleries, it was almost empty when I went. I highly recommend it.

The entrance fee is most reasonable. Over 3 floors, starting off with church sculptor, iconography, murals and finishing off with modern art. Look out for Theodore Arman - 'Garden Party' Nicolea Grigorescu's 'Houses at Vitrete' and Arthur Mendel...Has just one painting which resonates with the...More

Wonderful museum of art, situated in the former Royal Palace. It is situated in the very heart of Bucharest, in a wonderful tourist area. Lots of masterpieces are exposed here. A must visit in Bucharest.
