This museum has a large collection of Romanian art of which a large part is of religious origin. For sure worth visiting as it provides background on the history of this country.

Beautiful although slightly tatty building. Uninteresting content and uninspiring art. Cheap to enter and just as well as not good value and no one else was there which is a bit of a clue.

The attendants certainly outnumbered the visitors which made our visit very pleasant indeed. There are three floors of Romanian art arranged chronologically in one wing and a smaller collection of European art in the wing opposite.

Cute museum to spend a few hours. Very inexpensive. Lots of places to sit and enjoy. Clean bathrooms were available. The art varies but not too bad. Lots of stairs and walking but there are elevators available.

I preferred the European paintings in the other building but there is some nice iconography here I admired. I'm much less a fan of the contemporary art but saw a few gems.

Was there yesterday. Spent only 20 minutes. There were a lot of iconography of the bible. I have seen many of those because of my study History of Art. The modern paintings are more interesting. I would recommend, but don't expect too much. It's not...More
