I love this park. It's so beautiful and people here are so calm and only want to get really fresh air and away from the city stress. The park have multiple attractions and one of my favorites were the guards shifting places

This park has alot to offer - lots of green, a nice little lake, plenty of benches and trails to enjoy a walk or bike ride on. Most interesting is the change of guards at the monument, an absolute must-see.

I live near by Carol Park, in fact in between Tineretului Park and Carol Park.
It is a perfect place for walking with friends or family, for kids, for a beer or for lunch / dinner.
For me is a perfect place for running as well.
After 4 PM is crowded (sometimes overcrowded (especially in weekend) so I recommend you to enjoy its silence and peacefulness in the morning - a lovely experience!

I have visited this park a couple of times in the past 10 years that I have visited Bucharest. It's a very nice and pretty good size park. I went there with a friend of mine for a nice quiet walk in the evening. When I have visited this park in the Spring time it was very crowded and I saw many activities going on. On my recent visit, it was still Winter season and there were not very many people at night due to the cold. They have a flame that always burns for the memorial that is pictured. Military guards are always stationed near the monument and I think this place is very special. If you like parks and a nice place to walk for exercise, this is a great park to go to.

We were lucky enough to visit this park on a beautiful autumn afternoon
The park is so serene and peaceful, the trees and lakes stunning and the memorial totally awesome
We spent an hour or so peaceful time and we’re so glad we visited whilst on our three day trip to Bucharest

The park was set up between 1900-1906 after the plans of the French landscape architect Eduard Redont and was inaugurated in 1906 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reign of King Carol I. On this occasion a jubilee exhibition was organized, presented the Freedom Park. The general manager of the park was the scientist Constantine I. Istrati (1850 - 1918), professor and academician

A central location in the park is the National Heroes Monument.
There is a lot of greenery, a lake, places for recreation, sports and entertainment.
In the area are the Technical Museum, the Roman Arena, the George Cantacuzino Fountain, the fountain of the signs (which needs renovation), Vila Bosianu and others.

This park, each season is full of beauty, tranquility and if you want to get some peace in your mind it's the right spot.
The huge mausoleum monument for the fallen heroes in Romania's battles it's worth a visit.
Also you can enjoy rawing in a boat on the lake inside here.

This is a beautiful city to explore and visit the many historical attractions. The Old Town is awesome and the city is quite easy to get around in. Found the people quite helpful and friendly. Enjoyed local dining with large portions and excellent food choices.
