One of the more striking things about this beautiful botanical garden is the fact that it is located right next to an industrial centre, complete with cooling towers, chimneys churning out everything nasty-looking, and nasty smells. That small...more

A very well curated botanical garden. Giving the visitor a feel of living very much close to the nature. A large variety of plants and trees brought from almost all parts of the world. A must visit for a nature lover.

I recently went to the botanical garden and was mildly disappointed. The price was pretty good considering the lack of specimens. The one interesting thing I was able to enjoy was the botanical museum, which was quite interesting. One of the main attractions the greenhouse,...More

The entrance fees are very reasonable and highly recommend you see the botanical museum, it was small but very informative. The Garden itself was a big disappointment. The little lake they had was dry, weeds growing everywhere - not landscaped at all, and the one...More

I have to admit that this place is special for me. Here I spent days during school vacancies. It is a pretty large garden just outside the presidential palace. It is an alternative to the big city parks, very crowded in the summer. Entry is...More

We visited this extensive garden on a quiet Monday afternoon in mid September. A map indicates areas of the garden and paths, but within the garden there are no directional signs. Roses were past their prime—a few specimens still had blossoms, but most had peaked....More

A bit difficult to find, but well worth the effort. Wonderful greenhouses, rose garden, shady paths. Excellent little cafe. Friendly staff who offered us the "seniors" reduction which made it a very cheap visit !

Not a manicured garden but in the middle of an industrial area is this little oasis. Worth an hour or so if you like a slightly wild garden. We loved it.
