This was my favourite place in Bucharest. Whilst it is well worth a visit during the day the park is magical at dusk. As the lights come on and the birds roost it is quite an experience. The Monte Carlo restaurant is a good place to have a meal or drink.

This park was adjacent to our hotel so we went for a walk late afternoon. A kids concert was in place so it was super busy. Like a lot of places in the middle of Bucharest its very tired and feels that money is not getting spent, that said good place to wander in the shade of a hot day

This is a place where you can relax easily. You have lake, swans, restaurants, kids playground (if you're looking for this). During winter lake becomes perfect for ice skating.

A very nice park with a lot of benches and a lot of trails. In the middle there is a lake were one can rent a boat, but this is working only in summer. If you want to spent a few hours in a quiet walk and to view a nice place this is it.

I love this park. It simply reminds me of college since it was right next to it. It's a nice park full of people especially on the weekend but also you can have a quiet time. It's good for everyone - for the children to the oldest person. Also you can see ducks on the lake. In the morning it's... More

Nice, quiet park in the center of Bucharest. The oldest . Green everywhere, very old trees, a lake in the middle. Have a place to play for children. If you past there one time, definitely I will wish to back.

We visited the gardens on a pleasant Sunday afternoon - a lot of families were out for the day, on the boating pond, playing on the swings etc. There are lots of seats, in the shade or in the sun to suit the time of day, or your preference, as well as a few concessions selling ice cream, soft drinks... This is such a classical old Europe type of park. You can't go wrong wondering for a few hours there. Walk around the lake, sit on a beautiful iron bench, explore the japanese garden, sit for an ice-cream. Ideal for a family walk on the week-end or as a peaceful tourist break during a busy day,
