Could be cleaner and better-kept, but a wonderful park with a long history in the centre of the Romanian capital, and particularly good as dusk falls, or in the early hours of the evening. You won't be troubled by people, you won't be disturbed by people sleeping rough, but you will be thrilled by the magic of the water, but... More

It is a park that can make you forget your minds and put you in a good mood! You can rent for half hour a sea bike or a boat for 10 Leu of for an hour and 15 Leu! Also, you can come with your children and let them play until late in the night as it is lighted!... More

It was a hot day, we had walked a lot then we arrived in Cismigiu... we felt invigorated, just walking the alleys, and sitting on a bench and relax. Enjoyable for tourists and locals of all ages!

A really beautiful garden but nobody seems to care about it. It's quite dirty there. What scared me was the smell at the entrance (urine). But still it's worth to be seen.

This is one of my favorite parks in Bucharest. It's so beautiful, quiet and right in the middle of the city.

I guess the central location is what makes this park so popular. With duck-filled ponds, bench-lined footpaths, and a café-cum-ice cream shop every dozen yards, it's ok as far as city parks go, especially for families with kids or those just looking to grab a drink or a bite to eat "outside". If you're an outdoors buff though, you won't... More

the garden had a nice lake in the middle and some romantic bridges. the not so nice part is the conditions of the lawn. Maybe because it was august but it looked like burned by the sun in many spots

there are so many other parks in Bucharest. this used to be so nice and prestigious. now it's just an unmaintained unlandscaped pigeon poop park. I would recommend herastrau and even floreasca compared to this. very disappointed in what it's become
