Because i like Southern Comfort, i choose Mojo.
A good place to spend your time. I am here very often, because the staff is friendly. Good drinks, good prices. You can play pool, darts and many more games, downstairs. You also have Karaoke, every day, upstairs. Everyone loves Mojo, because the staff is always smilling. Oh, and sometimes, they sing. And they have good voices. I recommend this place, if you wanna have fun. No dress code, but don`t come naked, please. Oh, and don`t bring drinks from outside the bar.

Good Karaoke Bar in the Old Town
A nice bar downstairs to get some drinks. I would go on a Sunday rather than a Saturday as on Saturday it gets extremely busy and you might have to wait a long time for your karaoke request. There is also sports showing downstairs so overall a decent venue on a night out in Bucharest

    Best bar in Bucharest 🤩
The Karaoke lady is absolutely stunning and I would marry her, will be returning. Atmosphere - electric. The service is just like the DJ, 11/10, you even think about needing a drink and boom you’ve got one on the table. The only downside is bad singers. Bloke called “Bogdan”- sh*te. Rather get water boarded than listen to him. If he’s on karaoke (he will be he’s here every night) then good luck. To round it off, the bar is bloody brilliant, 5 stars from me 👍🏻

Giving one star just because of one employee (the blonde girl in charge with the playlist) which treated us extremely disrespectful. We were a group of 4 people, asked for a song for each person to sing because we were told that we are not allowed to ask for more (although there were other people singing over and over again). One of the requested songs was never played and we waited extremely long for the other songs to be played, although there were just few people left. She was pushing our songs to the end of the playlist because she wanted to sing herself numerous songs and then a few friends of her that were asking to play as well numerous times. We politely asked how much till the next song and she said 3 more songs left and then of course she and her friends sang again about 10 songs, because maybe she thought we were drunk and wouldn't notice, but too bad for her, we did notice. We confronted her and she got angry, being rude to us. She absolutely shouldn't be there working with people, better get a job as a singer somewere else and deal with her frustrations. People come to Mojo to sing and have fun, not to hear her singing all night long.
Otherwise the atmosphere is nice and people have fun, the other staff were very nice.

Me and my partner were trying to find somewhere to watch the Liverpool vs Man United match. We tried our luck in ‘Halftime’ next door and not only was it full, but the staff were rude and didn’t look very happy when we asked to stand at the bar… but I am so glad that happened! I popped into Mojo to try my luck there and the staff were so lovely, accommodating and made us feel right at home! Everyone was so friendly the whole place was good vibes, we were just going to stay for the match, but we ended up staying and getting rather drunk haha! Massive thanks to all the staff at Mojo, our heads are very sore today! And an even bigger thank you to Michael, he was amazing from start to finish and is hands down the best person we have met on our trip. If we ever return to Romania, we will definitely be back to Mojo ✨✨✨

Great pub just off the main street in the old town. With live sport, pub quizzes, karaoke and a general good buzz about the place, it's perfect for going to with friends. Not to worry though if you do go alone, there's always people looking to chat. Excellent value for cocktail and beer drinkers alike.

The first time I visited Mojo it immediately shot into my favourite nightspots. It is a large pub/club which has live music from the in house band every weekend. There is a great friendly crowd, the drinks are reasonably priced and well made, and the music is brilliant. I have never braved the Karaoke which is on upstairs, nor have I been to one of their comedy nights, but I am confident that you will love the Friday and Saturday night music.

My friends and I have been going to this club for over three years and now - because I have finally set up a TripAdvisor account - have decided it's about time I give it a well deserved (and also informative) review.

Mojo is quite a large club (probably one of the biggest in the Old Town area, if not the biggest) that is spread on 3 levels:
1. top floor - karaoke every day of the week, hosts around 100 people, always full
2. middle floor - pub area that regularly has football games on (generally Premier League, but also other leagues)
3. underground - club area with a capacity of 400-500 people that is literally packed Fridays and Saturdays with a very good live band (The Mojo Band). There are other bands that play there during the week, but, of course, they don't gather as many people as weekends. Fridays and Saturdays there is an entry fee of 10 lei (2 euros).

Every month, the club hosts a very popular Quiz Night that gathers over 40 teams every time. The quiz is for charity and the entry fee (2 euros) is all donated. As part of the quiz there are also: a raffle with prizes, a snowball question (last time a customer won 350 euros) and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners - all provided by the club and other sponsors.
Another monthly event that Mojo hosts is the British Standup Comedy Night. 3 different comedians are flown from London to Bucharest for a 2 1/2 hour show for a more than decent entry fee of 50 lei (11 euros).

Overall:
-cheap drinks (it's not the cheapest place in Lipscani, but it's way cheaper than most; long drinks 2,5 euros, cocktails 4 euros, draft beer less than 2 euros, a bottle of vodka + 4 mixers 35 euros)
-best karaoke place
-good music
-friendly and well trained staff
-good mix of people (all ages and nationalities)
-many flat TV screens that make the karaoke and football games more enjoyable than other places
-really good cocktails (particularly one that's named "Mojo Iced Tea" :) - my favourite)
-quiz nights, comedy nights, other bands and events
-bouncers are alright (sometimes they can seem a bit harsh, but I guess they're just doing their jobs trying to keep the place safe - I guess that's why I've never seen any fights)
-restrooms aren't the best (the ladies' restroom only has 4 cubicles, but I've never had to queue for more than 3-4 minutes, so it's not that big of an issue)

All in all, Mojo is an awesome club and if u've never been to it, give it a try. You'll most likely return :)

I`ve been to a Magazine launch last night and i had a great time. Good music, cold beer, nice games, attentive staff and a live concert of the Sofisticated Lemons. The only thing that I didn`t liked it was the fact that the ventilation was broken I think. A little bit too much smoke :)

Great atmosphere, nice people, great live music, fun, need I say more? This is the first place that comes into my mind when I think about going out with friends for a drink (or more), having fun and games or just the good old fashioned "hanging out". It's one of the best places to genuinely feel good in Bucharest. I've been going there for about 3 years now and all this time it somehow managed to reinvent itself with all the comedy and quiz nights, karaoke, clubbing or just having a drink at the bar. OK fair enough, let's just say that you are not into all that, you still have to like good music to come to a place like Mojo to listen to live music or dance during week-ends or just have a night out.
