- galina g6 contributionsFunny and cool museumVery interesting and cool museum, even funny! Located near food court in the shopping mall, near Ted's cafe. My mother ( age 68 ) and I ( age 40 ) had fun.Dear Galinag, thank you for your review! The Museum of Senses concept is designed for kids and adults to awaken all senses and have a lot of fun while learning and exploring. We do not doubt that your mother and you have also captured great photos of your visit. - Fearless166198676151 contributionA pleasant experienceThe museum of Senses in Bucharest is a fun and interesting place to visit. It has lots of cool, interactive exhibits that play tricks on your senses. The rotating tunnel is a favorite—it makes you feel like you're spinning even though you're standing still. It's a great spot to explore and enjoy with friends or family! I had a great time during my stay and I recommend this place to anyone!Dear visitor, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience in our museum! Only thing would be a reduction of price for the elderly/less mobile but otherwise we had a fab time!Dear Kosborn1, Thank you for your visit and feedback! We will take into account your recommendation. Best wishes! - Elena T.Columbia, South Carolina40 contributionsSuper fun, unique photo ops, affordable and convenientAwesome interactive experience inside the mall right next to IMAX. It’s a lot of optical illusions exhibits some familiar and some pleasantly surprising! The upside down room was my favorite. Ionut, museum staff, was very welcoming, engaging and helpful giving tips and taking excellent photos so I can enjoy my visit to the fullest (I was by myself). His colleague was also nice gifting me a sticker as a memento token. It took me about 30 minutes, I’m sure a larger groups can spend lots more time taking crazy photos and goofing around the exhibits. Better go in the morning when is not so all crowded. Would definitely recommend, fun for all ages for sure!Dear Elena, Thank you for your visit! The museum of senses in Bucarest is not a museum. It is a very nice senses oriented activities, a small area that kept us, 2 parents and a 6 years old child, happy and occupied for about 2 hours.
This play area is built on well known vision illusions, mirror maze, spinning tube tunnel, infinite mirrors room, and more.
The "museum" is located at the end of a big mall that can offer more children activities, food and shopping.
The stuff was kind and eager to help.
Taking the time and having many photos is nice way to pass some time but if you come to see Bucarest for short time, you can skip on it.

There are very few items, there was nobody to explain you (where it was needed), there was no explanation written either, except to few of them.
At the end, nobody was there again to show you those interesting games..
We've complained to the receptionist that there is not a single person present in the museum to show people something, nothing changed.
We stayed 10 minutes and paid 39 lei/each.
Never come back . Do not recommend.

Was a nice experience from the point of view of taking interesting photos. We also had a special offer with two tickets at the price of one so 39 lei for two was acceptable. More would have been to much.
Very short stay about 20 min some nice rooms with well made illusions very good mirror hall but this is all.
All in all for the price and the photos we took was good. But not the wow factor plus is too small.

After visiting other museums in Bucharest, we were ready for a different type of entertainment! We had decided to walk from the Old Town area, and we had no idea that the Museum of Senses was in a mall. A friendly tour guide had told us that Romanians love their malls!! That appears to be true. After the long walk we were ready for some fun. The Museum of Senses was fun, but crowded and very, very small! It only took about 15 to 20 minutes to maneuver through the many other participants and experience the amusing optical illusions!

Dear MKTBE,
thank you for your review. Yes, the Museum of Senses is located on the first floor of the fantastic shopping mall AFI. The shopping mall is well connected with public transport or taxi and this is one of the cheapest in Europe.
Over 90% of our visitors on average take about one hour, hour and a half to explore over 50 exhibitions, therefore, we encourage you when you visit one of our museums to dare to Senses more and awaken all your senses. By doing this, you will find out more about why the Museum of Senses concept is such a unique experience for kids and adults.
Looking forward to your next visit,
Best regards,
Gabrijela

Museum of Senses is not even close to a museum. Make sure you call ahead and ask if they are renovating so you won't end up paying for 6-7 corners not even rooms. The entrance is kinda cool but the rest not worth it. It was so disappointing and on the website it is a 1 hour worth but in 10 mins you can finish the "museum tour". Never again!

Dear Visitor,
thank you for your review. You are correct in the assumption that the Museum of Senses is not a traditional Museum, so if you have expected a traditional Museum we are aware of why you have run through it.
Museum of Senses is a unique concept of specialty museums for kids and adults that encourages visitors to awaken all senses while exploring and interacting with exhibitions set up.
If you dare to lay down on a Bed of Nails or walk through a Spinning tunnel then for sure you are not looking for a traditional Museum :)
Best regards,
Gabrijela

Been here for the first time but already had some similar experiences in 2 other cities in the past.
I still had good fun though. The museum is more of an interactive experience to explore the senses which makes it fun. It is quite small imo but there is enough variety that it still makes it worth the visit!

Dear Stefano,
thank you for your feedback. We are glad you had fun exploring over 50 exhibitions, some of which are unique to the Romanian market, such as the biggest mirror maze, mirror library, and more to discover by yourself. :)
Looking forward to your next visit,
Kind regards,
Gabrijela

Whilst the place is rather enjoyable it doesn't last long and is terribly hard to find to the extent that people who work in the shop centre don't even know where it is. The person replied to me Helllooooooo in English very loudly as I I was dead but didn't speak loudly to the locals. The children run wild without parents so most of your time will be taken by having ferral children jump in front of you in the queue and the parents if they are even with them just letting them.

Dear Crimsondream,
thank you for your feedback. The Museum of Senses has moved a couple of months ago to a new location in AFI, the first floor near the Imax zone with new exhibitions such as the Mirror library, Infinity tunnel, and over 15 m2 of the Mirror maze.
We are sorry to hear that the cheerful greeting of our team member was too loud for you, but we are looking forward to each visitor. Regarding kids running in the Museum, we must add that with such amazing exhibitions who would not run and be extra excited :)
Looking forward to your next visit,
Gabrijela

Nice and interesting experience.
We spent 30-40 minutes and we played with different effects created by illusion.
There was a employee who helped and explained almost every illusion.
An advice to management: maybe it would be nice to have more than one employee to explain all the illusions, especially when is crouded.
We benefited of the offer to buy 2 tickets at the price of one, which was a very good deal.

If you’re already planning to go to the mall, worth stopping in. It would be a really fun thing to do if you’re travelling with kids. We finished the exhibition in 15-20 mins so if you’re planning to go just for this, might be worth finding something else to do.

Dear Insatiabletraveler,
thank you for your feedback. We are wondering how you managed to run through the Museum and explore all the exhibitions in just 15.20 minutes. The average time per visit is around 45 hours.
Nevertheless we are sure that you took some amazing photos and had great time.
