This is the house of the goverment. It is huge, but not a special architectural gem. You can pass by several times if you are in the city.

It seems bucharest has many, places of Parliament/government, this is probably due to its turbulent political past. This building has a communist/soviet feel on first glance however, designed in the late 30’s, however had serious damage in WW2, after restoration, currently is what you see today. Worth a look during a walk of the area.

This fine edifice is for the Romanian Government, in other words the location of the National Cabinet and Prime Minister.

Pre WW II it was intended for the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Heavy damage was inflicted on it during the war and it thus underwent much renovations up to the early 1950s.

Victoria Palace is the house of the Prime Minister of Romania, an enormous building, a historical monument but not realy something special as a tourist attraction.

This is a massive governmental building, housing the Romanian government (notice - it's NOT the Parliament palace).
Public access to the building is not allowed, so you can gaze at it while going through Victoriei square.

A very big administrative building, housing the romanian government. Can't be visited, you can see it only from outside.Anyway,it doesn't worth more than a glance,it doesn't have anything special,it's rather an ugly building.Across the street are a few museums.

The palace is very beautiful and dominates the square which is one of the main ones of the city. It is one of the beautiful buildings to come to contemplate.

The Victory Palace was built in 1937 - 1944 in Bucharest. Since 1990, the Romanian government has been located here. Since 2004 it has been a historical monument.
