We visited the area at dusk and it was closed so we were only able to see the outside of the palace. I cannot review anything concerning the interior however if the interior is anything like the impressive front facade of the exterior, I would assume it may be beautiful inside also. From what our tour guide told us, the building has seen various uses over the years and recently it did house various governmental agencies but now it belongs to the Romanian Orthodox Church.

This is a lovely palace, located next to the Patriarch church, which is seldom visited by tourists.
unfortunately, there were no tours inside the palace during our visit, so we just walked around it and admired the early 20th century architecture.

A majestic palace, built in 1907,the first reinforced concrete building in the country. Access is free of charge on the basis of prior telephone appointment. It is a guided visit, not very long (20-30 minutes). You'll see the central amphitheater - an impressive hall with a huge skylight in the ceiling (something similar you can see at the Palace of Parliament) and a number of sumptuous halls that can be rented for different events.
Between 1989 and 1996 the building was the seat of the Chamber of Deputies
