The arch is small, and I have no idea what the "triumph" is, but it is a very cool structure that is interesting to see. However, the best thing about the arch is actually the area that it is in. The arch is just one of many beautiful structures and other things in that area. It is a nice addition to a very interesting area.

A great monument and one you can easily get up close to and admire in all its detail. There isn’t any signage to explain the history, which is a shame, but there’s plenty of other sights nearby to make it worth wandering to. They attempt to light it nicely in the evenings but in an understated way which goes well with the rest of the city. It’s one of the key landmarks and a must see for anyone’s first visit to the city or wanting good photo opportunities.

It is a symbol of the city and while smaller than other similar ones, it has nice architecture and it's a good, accessible place to take photos. Took a few good photos, but it took forever to get the cables out. A lot of cables everywhere, yay for Photoshop.

Opposite Government House in Piața Marii Adunări Naționale is the Triumphal Arch - Arcul de Triunf. It is a significant monument and also interesting from an architectural perspective, although it is a more compact design of those found in other cities but still significant. The Triumphal Arch was built by the architect I. Zauschevic in 1840 and was fully restored in 1973.  It is a very nice structure and I saw it quite often during my time in Chișinău.

The Triumphal Arch was built in 1840 by the architect Zauschevic on the commemorate the victory of the Russian Empire over Ottoman Empire during the War (1828–29). The building is square in plan and has two levels. The height of the monument is 13 m. Situated in Central area next to Nativity Cathedral.

Well, it's for sure worth a look if you're passing by, but I don't consider it to be a prime sight in town. It's on the main street, so you will eventually pass by during a stay in town.

In the same park as the Nativity Cathedral the Triumphal arch was built in 1840 to commemorate the overthrow of the Ottoman Turks by the Russian Empire in 1828. big for it. The monument and clock were restored in 1973.It is built of White stone and is aesthetically very pleasing. It is much squarer than other arches I have seen.

Built by the Russians during their first rule of this city after they broke it from Moldavia principality. Stands here to recognize a victory of theirs in one thr many wars they fought to get to Constantinople, reclaim the Byzantium heritage and own black sea straights. Stands well in the city architecture, but it's a bad symbol.

For me, this was the one major attraction in Chișinău I had to see and visit. It’s an impressive structure with a large flag and clock face to one side. It is dedicated to the Russo-Turkish War. A must photograph!

Good photo opportunity through the arch, especially if you have blue sky day. Classic Near most lodging and easily walkable.
