The staff were helpful but given that we were flying out in 24 hours our ability to tuck anything in our luggage meant 'no sale' alas. For locals this would be a great gem for special ingredients or gifts.
Great Quality & not the usual souvenir collections.

This is definitely my favorite shop in Zagreb. Quite possibly my favorite in all of Croatia. Great place to get your Aura necessities and wonderful selection of Croatian jams, cookies, salt, lotions, etc. Ella is our favorite! Thank you, Ella and hope to see you again.

If you are in Zagreb and you want to buy real Croatian souvenirs for your friends/family back home or just to remind yourself of holiday in Croatia, this is THE place. Location, prices, interior, stuff (Marcela thanks for fun and outstanding tasting) - all big pluses.

little shop in old city center, with traditional croatian products and souvenirs... very nice English speaking lady, which presented us the products she had in the shop... even she offered us for tasting traditional sweet and sour liqueurs, cow and sheep types of cheese with truffles, like 5 types of honey etc. I've decided for this amazing goat cheese with black truffles, even without tasting it and I regret I only bought one piece and a jar of super acacia honey... I truly recommend this shop to all lovers of traditional specialties

We chance upon this gift shop. We arrive the city on Sunday where most of the shops are closed. The lovely owner introduced us to the local products from Croatia. It was then we got to know tie was invented in this country. The shop have many great products that make great gifts. The wine, truffles, coaster, ornaments etc... what we love is the cozy setting. The wine is special. Wish we have more rooms in the luggage to buy more.

I must agree with previous comments regarding friendly Marcela. Kind, warm and welcoming lets you try all you want. No pressure to buy, but how could one not buy all those delicious little food and drinks.

We love it as well.

The store is nice and the store assistant very helpful...BUT! I was so upset to be so stupid and pay 1.5 times the price that you can find in a supermarket or even the airport! If you don't have time so shop around maybe that's ok...but otherwise just go to any big supermarket for the best price or the airport.

Dear customer, we're very sorry that you had such a bad experience in our shop, however most of our products cannot be bought at supermarkets because they have been made by small exclusively Croatian manufactures, and in Duty free shops they probably have tax free products, still not everybody goes to the airport for shopping. We try hard to be nice with our customers providing help with the shopping so they can get the full experience of Croatian products as well as souvenirs and take home some nice memories, which we doubt you can get at a big store. Kind regards Kredenca Shop Team

It sounds crazy to count a souvenir shop amongst my favorite attractions in Zagreb, but my visit to this little shop was one of the highlights of my trip. Located right off the main square (to the left and slightly up the street, if you're looking from the square toward upper town), I found Kredenca while I was looking for another shop recommended on TripAdvisor. I never made it to that store, because my experience here was so wonderful!

I was greeted warmly by Marcela when I entered the store, and as soon as she heard I wanted to take home a few bottles of Croatian brandy, her eyes lit up and she started pouring samples. It was a quiet day in early March without a lot of tourists, so she probably spent over a half hour telling me about the different varieties and letting me compare different brands. I've never had so much fun shopping for booze!

When we found out I could only take 1 Liter total back to the US, Marcela helped me find a combination of bottles that would keep me under the limit. She also filled me in the origins of the bottles I chose- telling me where they were made and what was significant about the area or ingredients, and she wound up giving me a ton of information about Croatian cuisine as well (I'm a foodie and asked a million questions!)

While Kredenca offers a wide selection of Croatian products, including wine, salts, and kitchenwares, it was Marcela that really made my visit to this store memorable. In Zagreb more than any other area of Croatia I visited, the people seemed so excited to share the history and traditions of their country, and Marcela's love for her country- or at least her country's alcohol! - shone through. For someone so young, she was exceptionally knowledgeable.

If you're looking for traditional Croatian gifts - and want to hear about what makes them traditional and unique, stop in and visit Marcela at Kredenca. Be sure to raise a tiny little thimble of brandy for me!

Hi, I'm glad you had so much fun in our shop, I 'm sure Marcela did her best to show you around the shop and introduced you to Croatia's various brandies selection, as well as other interesting stuff in Kredenca. I've already forwarded this message to her, she'll be happy to read this. Thanks for visiting and I hope you might come back!

The best shop for buying gifts for your family and friends. there are a lot of amazing home made things made in wood and fabulous and very tasty food and wine from Croatia. The seller is really lovely, she helps you with everything and give you a taste of the food and drinks so you can decide your favourite one.

In Zagreb, Kredenca is the shop where I found the best Croatian products, at the best prices, and I was helped by a very knowledgeable owner who provided valuable suggestions. All the product I bought were excellent!
