Perfect for history buffs, this walking tour provides an overview of a dark episode in Zagreb’s past: the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the Croatian War of Independence. Meet your guide in central Zagreb, and set off with just a small group for company. You’ll explore many of the city’s important landmarks, from the Ban Josip Jelacic Monument to the Zagreb Bombing Museum and the capital’s World War II tunnels. As you go, discover more about the city’s turbulent history.

Wow, such a cool wine bar. Huge selection of Croatian wines and from around the world. We had a flight and loved it. Ivan the owner was a real pleasure.

I was walking back from the cemetry and needed a treat and found this wine bar. It's a wonderful cave and the people there know alot about their wines. I had a sparkling wine that was delicious. Wish I had found it earlier in my trip.

We each started with a flight (surprisingly inexpensive) and had a couple more local wines after. Light appetizers on menu, all delicious. Service from Ivan was amazing - busy as a tornado but every time he visited our table he came to a full stop and spent quality time explaining the wines and their history. Oh, and live music too!

My son referred us to this lovely wine bar and merchant. We met Doris and Ivana, tasted several delicious wines including a Pinot rose and a posip, and also enjoyed a simple and pleasant lunch.

We visited this gem during the afternoon and enjoyed every minute of native wine tastings with great cheese and charcuterie. The owner was amazingly engaging in explaining the background of the grape varieties and the wines. We just didn’t want to end the experience - it was so much fun. If you are Zagreb and a wine lover , your trip is incomplete without a visit to this great wine bar ! Don’t miss it !
