I booked Zico tours for a city tour of Zagreb and also a tour of Lake Bled/Ljubiana both in late June 2023. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, both local experts. As a result I think I saw, learned and enjoyed these destinations more than anticipated. And because the tours were private, me and two friends, I am convinced it was a much more worthwhile experience than had I booked with a large group. I would highly recommend Zico.

Fab day trip to visit the vineyards of northern Croatian. Ned was the perfect host, funny, knowledgeable and always on hand to answer questions. Wine was fantastic and a great opportunity to see a local grower and his family in action.

Fantastic day- so beautiful. Day started well with a fantastic driver Kruno who got us to the lakes. Nicola was a great guide at the lakes. This site was busy but definitely worth visiting both upper and lower lakes. Can highly recommend

Our tour to Croatia’s Northern Istria peninsula with Zico Tours was amazing. We began our tour at our hotel in Zagreb. When we came down to the lobby a few minutes before our appointed time our guide, Dijana was waiting for us and being very punctual people ourselves this was great. Dijana took us to a waiting SUV complete with a driver. We began in Zagreb and had about an hours or so drive before our first stop. About halfway there it began to rain. Dijana rearranged the day taking us to a later city first, and in doing this, we missed all of the heavy rain!
On top of being punctual, Dijana speaks excellent English.
Our first stop was to Trsat. Trsat is thirteen-century Castle with amazing views. The courtyard of the castle is now a restaurant. We enjoyed a beautiful summer morning in the lovely courtyard while having cappuccinos with our fantastic Zico tours guide, Dijana, and our driver. We also visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat.
Next, we were in Rijeka, the third-largest city in Croatia and Croatia’s largest seaport. Rijeka’s city center is home to lovely ornate Austro-Hungarian–style buildings. If you love to shop and eat, don’t miss Korzo Street. We chose to eat lunch at a charming place along the water not far from the ships, lining the waterfront. At the suggestion of our Zico guide.
After lunch, we visited another city in Istria, called Lovran. Lovran is a medieval city and possibly one of the earliest settlements in this region. You will love its narrow streets. We had a mid-day glass of wine at one of the cafes and enjoyed the comings and goings of this medieval city.
Lastly, we visited Opatija. Opatija is a picturesque seaside town, rich in history and often called the pearl of the Adriatic. During the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Opatija was the place to see and be seen. You can easily imagine people strolling the waterfront in their lovely gowns and suits.
If you are in Croatia and want to see some a bit different from what other tour companies offer, take Zico Tours Opatija, Lovran, Rijeka, Trsat Private Day Tour. We recommend Zico Tours because their guides are punctual, fluent speakers and highly knowledgeable about the present day and the history of the areas you visit. The bonus is you will make a new friend!

We traveled with ZICO tours to 4 countries (Austria – Hungary – Croatia – Montenegro) from the 14th to the 29th of July. FROM ARRIVAL UNTIL DEPARTURE 24/7, It was by far the best travel experience we ever had. I was traveling with my entire family, and we had Adam Zorić ( OWNER ) as our tour guide, and Mr. Nenad Holjevac as our tour guider & driver. They are both two of the most kind hearted and professional people I have ever met. There was nothing we asked for or wanted that they did not make happen. The trip was very well planned and we were able to do and see everything, Adam and Nenad went as far as to find us other tour guides in countries they were not authorized in.
I have traveled to many places before, and have dealt with a lot of tour companies, but this was the best trip of our lives. Adam and Nenad were extremely professional, passionate, caring, and generous, and I would recommend ZICO tours to everyone I know in a heartbeat because they made this the experience of a lifetime.

We are 2 couples who arrived in Zagreb from US for a trip in Croatia. We knew we wanted to see Plitvice Park and also needed to get from Zagreb to Split, our second destination. We checked out the reviews on Zico Day Tours and decided to hire the one way trip they offer. Marco was our driver, he was absolutely wonderfulm, informative, fun to be with. He is a guide, as well as driver, so he also could do our tour in Plitvice. He made excellent suggestions of which route to do in the park and showed us outstanding sites along the way to Split. He also averted traffic congestion when possible. We highly recommend Zico for this day tour and send a big shout out to Marco who we all grew very fond of! Thanks Marco and Zico

I went for two weeks family trip included Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Trogir, Dubrovnik.
I can say clearly that, Zico Tours would be the best guided tours anyone can ever have in that region.
They were totally understanding for every single point we discussed during tour planning step, they managed to customize the tour for our family requirements ( noting we have 3.5 years child and 2 +50 adults) and we can say we almost missed nothing during the trip.
Adam, the owner is a real ambitious, helpful, and honest guy. He made everything easy to us even payment method and timings :)
we had very informative and professional local tour guides during our day tours and trips.
and I’d like to specially gratitude Nenad Holijvac, he drive for us the whole trip efficiently and professionally.
He is very decent man with good manners, who helped us with everything to made the walking tours and guided tours easier.
It was like he is part of the family with his professionalism, informative talks, help, understanding, flexibility, and flawless transportation trips.
He would be one of the best tour mates ever in Croatia :)

We hired Adam at the last second to take us to Plivitce lakes for the day. He was super flexible with timing given that we booked the tour the night before at 11 pm. Adam was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed learning about his experiences during our 2 hour drive to the lakes. He was helpful in showing us around and gave great local suggestions of places to try in Zagreb.

Hi myself and my husband will be waiting for 8 hours at Zagreb airport on 21st May for connection flight at 10pm and wondering about a pick up from airport at 2pm and 4 hour city tour of Zagreb and return to airport by 8pm
