This is an amazing wineshop! The owners are super nice and will help you out as good as they possibly can. They have a great variety of Croatian wines which also vary extremely in price meaning that there is something for everyone. They also have natural wines and local liqueurs! When you're in Zagreb you should definitely check out this hidden gem!

We visited the Vinoteka Vintesa on a nice friday evening. The friendly and highly competent employee showed us different wines and we tasted a very delicious sweet red wine.
During the tasting we had a pleasant conversation with the lady working there.

Zena and Robert were wonderful hosts in explaining the Croatian wines and olive oils as well as cheeses. What a wonderful way to spend time and I purchased some also!

My first night in Zagreb was a huge success, thanks to this place! My friends and I were interested in seeing what all the hype over Croatian wine was about and we were very impressed, to say the least. Robert was so kind, helpful, knowledgable, and welcoming. He let us sample several wines before settling with the one we liked most. The Kabola was so good, I couldn’t walk out without buying two more bottles. I’ll certainly be coming back before my vacation is over. Thank you so much for such a great experience!!

Just travelled through Zagreb and found this unbelievable wine boutique nestled in a quiet back alley in the city. The first night I was there was just the beginning of a long week of awesome wine tasting guided by very well knowledged staff and a sympathetic owner that really knows his wines. I will definetly be recommending this awesome little wine boutique to all my friends and family.
This place is a must visit when in Zagreb!!!!

You don't have to worry about picking up a bad bottle here--they have a beautiful selection and it's impossible to go wrong. Such a sweet, friendly owner--you feel like you're talking with family when you're there. Highly recommend this as your stop for Croatian wines!

We found this great wine shop near the center of town. Ivanka is knowledgeable and super friendly! We also shared a bottle of wine with Zina, the owners wife, and had great conversation! They have a great selection at fair prices! If you love wine this is a must stop! Very gracious hosts!

This is my favorite wine shop in Zagreb. Not only do they have a great selection of wines, but everyone who works there is extremely helpful. Ivanka works most days and is always willing to offer suggestions- either her personal favorites or suggestions based on what you normally drink. There is very little markup on the wines, and you can also get rakija and olive oils. Whether you are visiting Zagreb or you live here, I definitely recommend stopping by Vintesa!
