I often learned here for exams. There's a lots of computers which you can use if you don't have a laptop. Plenty od space for learning and reading. Nice memories for me and my sister.

The National Library in Zagreb has a long history that goes back to the year 1607 and Jesuit library situated on Gradec in their gymnasium. For years, the Library was situated in its building on Marulić square and it was transferred here in 1995. The building is a glass cube designed by four Croatian architects (Neidhardt, Krznarić, Hržić and Mance). The library stores around three million written documents (books, magazines, newspapers etc.) and has 1100 seats for the users, which are mostly students. it's always too crowded and too quiet. I know it's libraray, but sometimes it acts a bit snobbish, if you cough, everyone look at you and make 'shhh...' and similar. if you order some book, you'll have to wait min 45min till they get you a book and most of it you're not allowed to take them at home with you.…

This garden is a hidden jewel in the city center just near hotel international and the national library! It has different colours and varieties of flowers and a lovely fountain at the end. It is well worth to visit it by day or by night (at night the fountain changes colours) and it looks so nice! Do not miss it! you will enjoy , take lovely pics and relax!…
