Did pop by just to check it out. Very beautiful park and location for running / rollerblading / cycling etc. Sunset view is also amazing!

Jarun lake is along Maksimir park and Bundek lake one of most popular recreation areas in Zagreb. With plenty of beaches and bars it provides seaside experience for people who can't afford to visit seaside. Area is very well maintained, clean, there is a path all around the lake in length of more than 6km. There are not many cars... More

Jarun is commonly known as Zagreb sea. This is very popular recreational area. One can enjoy there sports, swimming or just having drink with a friends. At nights it turns in to the clubbing area, where people are comings to have fun

In the summer the beaches are full, the water clean and regularly checked in line with public health and safety standards. Plenty of bars and ice cream places in the summer, not so much in the winter. Swans and little ducks... More

This is outside of town and its pretty to look at . If you are going to canoe or row while you are there then ok... but if not.. no need to drive out.. too much in town to see.

Great quiet area with a lot of sport activities, pleasant people and nice atmosphere :) We visited a restaurant near the shore - it was very peaceful and charming.

We walked there but we should have taken the bus.It used to be a crime ridden area but the "council " invested in the area to create large area for sport and recreation. There is water skiing ,swimming a 2000 metre rowing course + tennis etc etc.
