Nice view with bars
Jul 2020 • Family
Nice view over the city, for safety there is a fence around it with makes it harder to take pictures.
Toilet upstairs also.

First day in Zagreb
Mar 2020 • Business
I visited Croatia & Zagreb for the first time just before Covid lock down.I had reviewed the attraction before going and was excited to see the best view in Zagreb.
Its right in the main square , a bit fidfly to find and strange to enter via the ground floor of a large building .
The staff are awesome and very friendly. Up in the lift and a small charge as you enter the high rise bar.
The bar is nice , a good spot and you get great service and a friendly receiption.
Beers bought and then they offer to open the outer doors and wooooooow.
You get to walk outside and have a fantastic view of Zagreb's main square and a greater view of the city. I visited at about 9pm and the city was a live and alight below me.
This has to be one of the best surprises of Zagreb.
Thanks to all and the beer was great as well. Honestly . Wooow

Lovely cafe and viewpoint, nice in the evening
Mar 2020
This is situated just off the Joseph Jelacic Square, through some sliding glass doors. We'd seen the observation deck in Bratislava but this couldn't have been more different - the girl in Bratislava couldn't even be bothered to look up from filing her nails as she took our money and indicated the vague direction of the lifts. The girls in Zagreb were very helpful and pleasant as they explained that the ticket (€4?) lasted all day so we could return at any time. We walked around the ledge, very carefully taking pictures, before sitting inside and having a coffee. Two coffee here cost about half the UK cost.
We returned in the evening and took some more photos and had coffee again. It would have been nice to eat too but we were on a sightseeing mission!

Excellent and included when you buy a Zagreb Card

Well worth it gives great views over the whole city and has a relaxed bar you walk through to get to viewing area.
Staff all helpful and prices in the roof top bar are to honest very cheap a large bottle of beer (500ml) is 18 kuna or approx just over £2 and you have the view.
We visited first for the photo opportunity then returned at night for drinks and to see the city by night.

Great view!
Jan 2020 • Couples
This place was great. The views were the best in town. The set up is unique, instead of gaudy souvenirs stands, it’s a lounge where you can relax, have a drink, or play games.

Pay no mind to the negative reviews complaining about the bars obstructing views of the city or not being able to move all the way around.

One suggestion was to remove the bars in exchange for glass. That would be a nightmare for them. Sun glare and dirty glass is way worse. There’s plenty of space between bars to snap great photos. My advice is if you’re worried about dropping your phone, go out and buy an accessory that includes a strap.

Even though it’s not 360 degree viewing, you’re not missing anything. The best views are of the square and surrounding area.

Being able to enter as many times as you like is a huge plus. It gives you the option of taking pictures in the daytime and night.

Well worth the trip!

A beautiful quaint city worth a visit especially winter. The Christmas markets around the area are varied and all interesting. The city has planned for not one market but several in the city.

Great view of Zagreb
Nov 2019
This place offers a great view of Zagreb and also has a cute area to sit and order drinks or play board games and hang out. Also, your ticket is valid all day so you can come back in the evening and see it at night as well as during the day. Definitely worth a visit while you’re in Zagreb

What a beautiful place!
Sep 2019
Illica was so close to everything. We walked from our apartment to the Main Square, Cathedtral and everything was closeby. Such a lovely town with beautiful architecture and cordial people. Everything about the city was nice. Very convenient to travel in trams. Evening walks were wonderful! We walked and walked around the city and it was very picteresque and everything around was photogenic. Random people solo singing and playing instruments. Very peaceful and calm. The markets were really great with extremely fresh fruits and vegetables. Everything was convenient and I wish I'd get to visit again.
