We had the most memorable trip with Davor through ZagrebTours! Davor showed us all around Croatia and it was absolutely splendid. He planned very special and authentic activities for us from truffle hunting with dogs, to visiting an oyster farm and getting to try fresh oysters and mussels directly from the lake, to a wonderful wine tasting with a local family who prepared homemade appetisers and desserts to pair with the wine. We visited the beautiful Plitvice Lake National Park and Davor also went out of his way to take us to visit the smallest town in the world! Every detail was so well planned and thoughtful; I couldn't imagine a better vacation! Davor is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Croatia and he made it very interesting for us to learn about! By the end of the trip Davor felt like another member of our family! If you want to experience Croatia, I absolutely recommend booking ZagrebTours with Devor!

Davor from Zagreb tours helped us organize the most beautiful and remarkable vacation to Croatia and Lake Bled, and Ljublyiana, Slovenia. We took a 10 day trip that was customized to our needs, and age. We enjoyed the scenery, national parks, cities and resorts. The places we stayed in were mostly luxurious, comfortable and added to the wonderful experiences. We were also taken to regional restraunts and enjoyed delicious local food. Our guides Roni and Thomas were courtious ,friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Zabrab Tours provides excellent service and a life time special vacation.

Zagreb Tours is a must for anyone planning a European holiday. If I could give them 6 stars I would. I first contacted Davor in January 2020 about a holiday in December of that year. Then Covid struck and things were put on hold, firstly until 2021 and then until 2022. Davor couldn’t have been more helpful in organising our holiday and the hotels he suggested were all first class, our favourite being The Esplanade in Zagreb. Tomislav (Tom) was our driver/guide and we couldn’t have hoped for a nicer fellow - quiet, helpful, flexible, very knowledgeable and a coffee lover. Leaving Tom at the end of our trip was like leaving an old friend. We travelled from Zagreb to Zadar stopping at Plitvice Lakes, then to Split and Dubrovnik. From there we had a day trip to Kotor in Montenegro where the scenery was breathtaking. We then crossed over to Bosnia and Herzegovina where we stayed in Mostar and Sarajevo, then back to Zagreb for six nights. My only regret is that we did not spend more time in Croatia. There is so much more to see. Thank you Davor and Tom.

ZagrebTours and Davor, our amazing tour guide, curated an exceptional travel itinerary for my family of 6. He selected wonderful hotels, provided excellent restaurant recommendations, selected fun activities based on our groups interests. Some of the highlights from the trip include: wonderful wine tastings, city tours/walking the walls of Ston and Dubrovnik, truffle hunting, mussel and oyster tasting, plitvice national park and so much more! Davor is a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. He made everyone feel like Croatia was home for 10 days. We will definitely be using ZagrebTours and Davor for our trips in the future!

My wife Ronni and I traveled with Davor for 17 days through Spain and Portugal. There is only one word that describes our experiences, "magical," and in large part that was due to the care, empathy, and personality of our guide. We began the tour with Davor in Madrid as a guide/client, we ended in Barcelona as close friends. Davor's knowledge was extensive and he delivered his information in an easily understood manner. If he was not the most knowledgeable he arranged some of the best guides I have ever experienced traveling. We visited the most important sites in Madrid, Porto, Sintra, Lisbon, Cordoba, Salamanca, Toledo, Granada, Seville, and Barcelona. Davor arranged everything from admission fees, wonderful hotels, and travel across two countries. He made us comfortable and his engaging personality and treatment of senior citizens was the best. If you need a guide in Europe, the Lord of the Tour/Davor is your man.

We did a private day tour of Bled and Ljubljana in Slovenia with our guide Zack. From the start, Davor was very informative and helpful. He replied to my emails very quick which was great in helping us decide the tour. Our guide Zack was very friendly and accommodating, extremely well-knowledged in history and politics. I would definitely recommend Zagreb Tours to anyone who is planning to go to Croatia. Will definitely hire Zagreb Tours again in the future for Postjana Caves and Plitvice Lakes.

This was the most amazing experience!!! Davor really personalized the experience for me and has so much knowledge to share. He made the trip one that I will never forget. He took me to some of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen, both the famous ones and also the ones that locals go to (I added a couple photos but we went to many other places too). If you are thinking about doing a tour with them, I would 1000% recommend it, it’s really incredible!!

We have traveled 5 times with Zagreb Tours and will never use anyone else. Davor has worked with our requests, our itineraries, and added his own knowledge and ideas which made every trip a memorable and happy experience. Croatia, Central Europe, etc - all were exceptional. He finds amazing places to stay, see and eat. Prices are very fair and the service can't be beat!

Davor is a fantastic host, who knows all the ins and out of the history and travel bests of Zagreb and the extended surrounding area! We had an extended day tour, we went to all the places of importance and a few more. In addition, his recommendations for Zagreb and the rest of Croatia were spot on, be it hotels, bars, restaurants, or sights to see.
I got way more out of Croatia because of our tour and his helpful advice and recommend the same for you. Croatia is bigger and has more to see than I expected, make the absolute most of your time and let Davor show you the best of it!
Also too his English is awesome so that makes things easy also. A full 5 stars, especially for spending a bit of extra time on a few of the specific attractions I most enjoyed!

I'm looking to do a 7 day tour in June. It will be my daughter and I. Do you have any existing tours I can join? My dates are flexible at this point and I can fly into Zagreb. Does the tour start in Zagreb or Dubrovnik?

We took a really beautiful eleven-day tour of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina with Davor Zagreb Tours. We started in Zagreb and ended in Dubrovnik through Sarajevo, Mostar and Split. One of the best tours we have had covering nature, culture, history, food, people, politics, etc. You will love this. Include Bosnia-Herzegovina.

ZagrebTours requested a deposit up front (before we left home) which I paid with wire transfer from my local US bank to their bank in Croatia. The final payment was made near the end of our tour with my credit card (although a small fee was charged for using it).

You can fly with your preferred airline to a hub in Europe and then transfer via Air Croatia to Zagreb. For example, fly to Paris and transfer to Air Croatia.

We are thinking about doing one of the Croatian trips. Do you know about tipping policy and how much people have given?

Hi, Bernand. In Croatia, as in most of Europe, tips are not as generous as in the U.S. Fifteen percent would be almost extravagant. Americans started tipping about 10 years ago or so. Many locals don't tip at all and at restaurants, some bills include service -- you can ask. Croatians seem happy to get any tip you give. A reasonable tip for a tour guide or taxi is 5 percent -- that's what we did. Tip 5 to 10 percent in restaurants. If you're in southern Croatia, Dubrovnik is wonderful. If you're in northern Croatia, don't miss Motovun and Rovinj. Spend some time in Slovenia, including Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. Kent

Hi Igor Subotic,
We are from India & will be travelling to Opatija via Zagreb on 23rd May'16. Two of us are free from 24th to 27th May'16 & are travelling to Croatia for the first time . I have been checking out Tripadvisor for things to do in Opatija however I understand there is more to do in Zagreb & many travellers have recommended Zagreb Tours-Day Tours.
What would you recommend Mr.Igor for two women while our husbands are busy at work? We need day tours as we will have to go back to Opatija for the night & come back to Zagreb in the morning. How does that work out?
Waiting eagerly for a reply. Thanks in advance.
Deepa Mangeshikar.
