Really fun day canoeing down the Zrmanja river. Guide was funny and made sure everyone had a great time. Lots of adrenaline going down the waterfalls, but also very accessible for everyone in the group (a wide range of ages within the group). Would highly recommend.

This was a great activity for the family - something different.  We enjoyed rowing out to Zlarin and swimming.  It was really fun and we recommend it, but just a few pointers: the pizzeria in Zlarin does not start serving until 13:00, and they did not tell us that our orders would then be behind all the take-away orders.  So, eat lunch at the fast food place instead.  Second, the wind picks up in the afternoon so the paddle back is harder.  There was some confusion as to whether the tour included Saint Nicolas fortress.  But overall, it was really fun for the family.

Hello Casa, thank you for the review and for the pointers! There are a few restaurants available on the island, however, due to COVID measures, it is possible that there were setbacks in orders. Also, we apologize for the inconvenience regarding St. Nicholas Fortress. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the trip with us, and hope to see you sometime again. Kind regards!

I'm a bit late to leaving a review, but just got around to it :) We were on a canoe trip with my family and my boyfriend on the 30th of June and enjoyed every minute of it! The guys delivered a very informative tour with short stops along the river where we could appreciate the local eco system and sometimes some folklore tales. Most importantly, they always made sure noone was left behind and kept the whole group together (not like other tour groups we bumped into) and their English is easy to understand. The waterfalls are also incredible and worth every penny! Can't wait to go back for rafting :)

Hi Annavarfalvi, it's never too late for the feedback :) Thank you for taking the time to write it. If you'd like to join for rafting, please plan on doing it in early Spring, as it depends on the water level. Also, please check with us a few days in advance, just to check the water level. Kind regards!

We have been on the Mreznica River kayaking day trip with Raftrek twice now. Our kids are 9 and 11 and it was one of the highlights of the holiday for them and for us. If you want to see Plitvice Lakes but can't stand the idea of shuffling over boardwalks in the heat with crowds of people, this is a great way to see waterfalls and lovely scenery close up and, unlike at Plitvice Lakes, on the kayaking trip you get to swim in the river and under the waterfalls. The trip runs from 10am until about 2pm ish. All equipment is provided by Raftrek. The guide gives you all the info you need and stays with you throughout the trip. Tip: When they offer you option of a free wetsuit at the start of the trip, take it! Even in hot weather some kids (and adults) can start to feel the cold of the water.

Hello, thank you for the review, we appreciate it, and we're happy you enjoyed kayaking with us. Also, thanks for the tip - the river is fresh even in the summer months, so if you easily get cold, we recommend taking the suit, but if you want to cool yourself - enjoy kayaking in your swimwear only! We hope to see you again soon! Kind regards!
