Great place to visit in Zagreb :) The Tesla Cabinet was really nice and even if you're not visiting around the time of the guided tour, there's a nice video tour thing playing, so you still get a tour-ish experience. Many interesting exhibits from various scientific and twchnological fields - there's a lot to this place and you really shouldn't... More

We were really looking forward to this museum. The reviews are wonderful. However the weekend hours are 9:00-13:00. Plan accordingly.

It's called Nikola Tesla museum for a reason, and if you know that name, it should be reason enough to visit it :)

The museum is two minutes walk from the Studentski Centar tram stop in an unimposing building and setting, set back off the road. The entry fee is 30 Kuna (approx. £3 sterling) and allows free rein within the building which has so many side rooms it's like the TARDIS: bigger on the inside! I was fortunate - yes, fortunate -... It is a nice huge museum housed in an old factory or something. It is not modern and technically advanced, but exhibits are authentic. As we visited the museum on a weekday morning, it was almost empty. The problem was that NOBODY at the ticket/information desk was speaking English or French or Italian so we were “left at the dark”!... More

It is very fine museum. It is not modern and technically advanced, but it has a charm. Exhibits are authentic and well explained. I loved specials like Tesla lab, Old mine and room with city bees that makes honey at the attic of museum!

A small technical museum with some interesting collections. My favorites were the history of fire fighting and the mining exhibits. The space exploration exhibit is rather underwhelming, consisting mostly of very cheap desk models of various probes and spacecraft, but they do have a rather rare full scale Lunokhod model (Soviet Lunar Rover). Astronomy exhibit was closed for renovations as... More

It was a very interesting museum visit. There are a bunch of innovations and vehicles on the display. From submarines to planes even a small Italian tank. But the best part form me was the mining grove. Fun for the whole family, maybe not so much for the female side :)

We very much enjoyed the technical museum. It has a large transportation section which is primarily what we went to see. A special section on fire fighting was particularly interesting. They have a lot of hands on stuff for kids, a theatre and a simulated mining trip in the basement which was real enough to give my wife claustrophobia and... More
