AMARA shop is temporarily closed. We are preparing new collection to be presented at a new location soon! AMARA is a small workshop equipped with hand-weaving looms, sewing machine and a lot of ideas. We combine traditional weaving methods with modern design into always different, one of a kind handwoven products. We create unique accessories you will find nowhere else. We hope you will like them. In our shop you will see the process of hand-weaving and get to give it a try.

We dropped into the Amara studio when we ran into it on our way to the Croatian Museum of Naive Art, and we were so glad we were in the mood to explore something unplanned. The owner buzzed us in and showed us around the small studio. Everything was beautiful and handmade, and if the products were not produced in the studio, the owner could tell us exactly who had made them. As a self-professed textile nerd, my partner was so excited to have stumbled upon a showroom of locally produced textiles. If you are looking for high-quality locally-made textiles for folks back home, be sure to stop by before or after your museum visits in Zagreb.

One of a kind hand woven products, sofisticated fresh design, charming, pleasant and helpful owner - Amara has it all. I really enjoyed choosing and buying a few presents for family and friends at Amara's. Prices are not low but totally acceptable for handmade products.

Beautiful hand made scarfs and bags. Very artistic and traditional.Shop is working space so you have opportunity to see process of making. I really like that.
