I spent two days in Zagreb in March 2019 and took two separate walking tours with Smart Travel and was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the guides - Stephen on the first day and Jelena on the second - pardon me if I spelt the names wrong. The tours started right on time, and went at a manageable pace. Historical facts were presented very objectively (it is easy for a guide to fall into the trap of getting personal emotions into narratives - especially in the Balkan region which as seen so much action!). Booking process was smooth as were the transactions - I thoroughly recommend these guys!

We worked with Jelena for a couple of our clients and she was amazing!
All our queries were addressed right away and sorted within no time. I am quite a stickler for making sure that the experiences are not compromised and she made sure that everything was as per my brief! In fact she went to Split and spent some time with the clients too.... they were very happy about this gesture!
In fact we had an issue in transferring some money to her and it finally got sorted a few weeks after the trip was over. She very patiently helped us sort out the bank transfer issues.

I visited Trieste and Miramare castle 3 weeks ago and I am still overwhelmed of how amazing it was. I travel a lot with Smart travel agency because organisation is always brilliant, tourist guides are professional and very interesting. Jelena is such a lovely person and easy to communicate to. :)
I cant wait to plan another trip!!! :)

It was a great trip. The bus and the driver, Marijan, were great. Our tour guide Ingrid was phenomenal. She has a lot of knowledge, experience and will to tell all of that in a really beautiful and interesting way. You always choose great hotels.
