I found their website on a Google search and compared the services and tours offered against their competitors. There was a good selection of tours to choose from and the prices were less expensive than others.
Booking was simple via the internet even though I had made a mistake completing the online form, the company emailed me back and sorted out the necessary arrangements. Payment is not made until after the tour and this is required in the local currency – Kuna. The company is based centrally for the lower town, the meeting point is their office in the basement level of a commercial building. The building is a little difficult to find, being off the main road with the entrance down a short alleyway (trust Google maps to take you to the correct location).
Before the tour there is small amount of admin and a damage limitation form to sign. There is the option to use a cycle helmet, but this is not obligatory. The bikes are sturdy & appear well maintained, a small bottle of water is supplied.
Our guide “Robert” was very experienced and knowledgeable. He spoke beautiful English and injected humour into his commentary. The 3-hour Classic Morning tour was taken at a leisurely pace (suitable for all abilities) and covered all the major landmarks of the Town. Halfway through the tour there was a refreshment stop in a local Coffee Shop – in our case to warm up!
Robert also took a few photos of our group at various locations during the tour, these photos were then emailed to us at home (no charge) as a memory of our cycle tour.
I would highly recommend this company and the Classic Tour. If I were to return to Zagreb, I would use this company again.
