Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia’s most visited attractions, drawing more than one million visitors annually. Because of its popularity, it can be a challenge for travelers to navigate crowds and make the most of their time spent there. Absolutely loved the Zagreb 80s Museum - thought it was a wonderful snapshot of both the decade, and of Zagreb/Yugoslavia back then. Admittedly, I was a frequent visitor to Zagreb/Yugoslavia in the 1980s (as a child), so it brought back many memories for me and was a real nostalgia trip. But the interactive nature of the museum (you can open up all the cupboards, try on clothes, play around with the computers etc) would surely appeal to all, and to all ages. My young daughter loved sitting in the yellow car! Reasonably priced too, I thought.

Interesting concept with nice 80's vintage decoration and equipment. An apartment is the so called museum with living room, kitchen, office, bedroom. Not much interest and things to see. But not worth 40KN. I don't recommend.

This is a perfect recreation of an 80's eastern bloc flat. I know because I liived in one. We went so my son can see some of the things that defined my youth but (now I regret it) I threw away. Those who want to know a little more about everyday life of Zagrebians (?) and want to have a glimpse into the Yougoslav past this museum is a must. It does not take long to visit because it is relatively small (as it should be). Being typical tourists we only deplored the limited amount of merchandise. Highly recommended!!!
