Balloon club Zagreb is Croatian premier balloon operator with over 25 years of ballooning experience. We fly throughout the year with morning and evening flights available 7 days a week. Your adventure starts at the doorstep as you'll be picked up from your hotel and whisked to the launch site. There you will join the team of some of the most experienced balloonists in Europe, and be welcomed to the world of hot air balloons. You'll be in safe hands as you take on a journey quite like no other! Gently hovering through the sky, enjoy amazing views of the Zagreb surroundings, with historical castles, vineyards, and villages nestled within this green countryside. After the flight, you will be welcomed back to the ground with a glass of bubbly and a selection of local cheese. The whole adventure lasts 3-4 hours. Be it a couple, family of four, group of friends, you'll go home knowing why they call the Zagreb and Zagorje region, a fairytale on the palm of your hand.

Recently I went for a balloon flight across Zagorje, It was a wish for both me and my wife for a while now, and we are so thrilled we got this experience. I didn't know what exactly to expect, but the dominant feeling is that it is so chilled and calm up there! Unlike other types of flying, this one is smooth and quiet.
Not to forget the excellent crew that flew the balloon, who were very helpful, funny and interesting.
Wholesome experience, I can recommend it to anyone (perhaps not if you are afraid of heights).

Balloon flight cannot be described in words in this comment, you simply have to experience it. Exciting, wonderful and incredible experience. But the staff can, fantastic reception, very kind and professional people, nature, coffee, juices, fruits and all that with the sunrise on terrace, and at the end of the story and introduction to the history of balloons and diplomas on flying.

Fantastic. We came to Zagreb just to go up on a hot air balloon and tick that off our bucket list. Absolutely did not disappoint. The scenery is stunning and Igor and his crew are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Couldn't recommend then enough

I dreamed my whole life about flying in a hot air ballon and this summer I finally did it! The whole experience was amazing. Marija, Tom and Igor (Club founders and pilots) were the best possible people you could imagine in that new situation. They picked us up in Zagreb at 5 a.m. and then we went to Zabok, where is some kind of small airport. While we were waiting for hot air balloon to be prepared, we drank some tea and coffee. One hour later adventure started. :) The whole flight lasted about hour and a half. I can't find words to describe it. It felt like magic. We were sliding above the fog, clouds and trees and the view was breathtaking. I know Zagorje County pretty well, but I was amazed.
After the flight, the experience wasn't over. We want back to Zabok and there was a surprise - breakfast, champagne, fruits and more - all waiting for us. Also, we got personalized, hand written, balloon flight certificates.
I can't wait to do this again, maybe on my wedding day in a couple of years. ;)

Excellent organization and unforgettable experience. We didnt have to worry about any single detail except to enjoy the view. It' suitable even for those who have fear of heights because it is the most gentle ride you’ll ever going to be on. You 'll barely notice you’ve lifted off the ground and soon you’ll be serenely floating and enjoying

We had a couples flight booked in the Hot Air Balloon With Igor. Him and his team were so accommodating in helping us schedule a flight on short notice when needing to adapt for the weather. We ended up doing a morning flight and were blown away with the experience. The pre flight pickup, snacks/breakfast, wine and cheese and the actual flight were phenomenal.
We always try to support locals when traveling - this family run business is fantastic way to do this, in addition to the once in a lifetime experience we’ll never forget.
Igor and his team were wonderful, kind and super fun to hang out with! I would definitely recommend anyone who has some time to spare in Zagreb to try this out.

Basket of the hot air balloon is the best corner office in the world. Especially when you are flying over beautiful hills and valleys of "Hrvatsko Zagorje"! After the first flight, I have invited many of my business partners and friends to dare to try it. The reactions were unanimous - "Best experience ever!" :-)

If you're looking for a unique way of spending time outdoors, search no more. Flying in a balloon is an experience that you'll want to repeat over and over again! If you add the beautiful scenery you're flying above it is a must if you find yourself in Zagreb or even in Croatia! It's definetly worth the trip! And at the end, a glass of champagne with the pilots for you, like a real ballooner!
