Thank you Adriana for organising our 3rd amazing trip with you.We had an amazing few days .
We loved Sophia, Bulgaria and I would highly recommend a trip there and to stay in the Art Hotel and to eat in Constantinoff restaurant.Skopje was a beautiful city and definitely it would be well worth another visit.
Ohrid was beautiful so relaxing and I would highly recommend the Amfora and Belvedere restaurants.
And Kotor was HEAVEN and the Hotel Astoria was beyond exceptional. ROOMS were spacious clean and the food was divine.The staff could not do enough for you.
Nikolce drove us from Sophia to Dubrovnik. HE was so generous with his knowledge, time and always treating us to things in the shops.
I would highly recommend Nikolce to any other travellers..always punctual...chatting..full of information and always available if we had a question.
Thank you both for organising this fantastic trip.

Adriana helped us put together the itinerary, and Kiril and Marina were our driver-guides. We went to Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Devatashka Cave, and Pleven. We were a challenging group: one kid, two teenagers, and five adults, one who was in a wheelchair and one who finds walking a long distance challenging. We were together for a full week. Kiril and Marina were absolutely wonderful. They were knowledgeable, patient, and took such great care of all of us. They also went above and beyond when our wheelchair broke. I would highly recommend Balkan Tales to anyone who is interested in visiting Bulgaria! We will certainly use them again when we come back!

7 friends travelled to Bucharest, Costanza, Varna, Veliko Tarnova, Plodiff, Sofia, Skopje and Lake Ohrid with stops in between. We had a wonderful time. Adriana organized the tour for us and Kiril was our driver-guide. It was an amazing trip I highly recommend Balkan Tales. Romania and Bulgaria are wonderful to visit either separately or together. Working with this company was excellent.

I contacted Adriana about putting together a private guided trip for 4 persons from Sofia to Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and ending in Albania. She was easy to communicate with and set up the ideal trip for us for a great price.
We met Genti at the airport in Sofia and went from there. He was an amazing guide full of knowledge, enthusiasm and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We really enjoyed getting to know him and feel he became a great friend to the whole group.

I was pressed for time and this tour was tailored made to suit my requirements. Kiril was very knowledgeable, has an excellent sense of humour, and went the extra mile to help me experience not only Plovdiv, but a little extra of Bulgaria.
He arrived on time, and had me safely back at my hotel in enough time to catch my flight back to South Africa.
The passion that this team has for tourism, and especially Bulgaria, is contagious. It show in every detail.
This is the team to contact for that extra something special that you didn't even realised that you are missing!

Private Guide Bulgaria is the best travel agency in Bulgaria by far. Mrs. Adriana did her best to organize us the trip around Bulgaria we'll treasure for our lifetime. She is always ready to fully meet the criteria of the most demanding travelers. Our guide was Mr. Kiril and he was amazing in every sense of the word, hands down. A walking encyclopedia of both Bulgarian and Europan art and history, he's also one of the nicest people we've ever met. Therefore, we highly recommend Private Guide Bulgaria.

I would highly recommend Balkan Tales for a great experience anywhere in the Balkans. Our guides in each country were excellent. They were highly experienced, extremely personable, very knowledgeable and passionate about their country, and excited to share this experience with you. Both Zahari in Bulgaria and Nikola in North Macedonia went the extra mile in all areas to ensure we had a good stay and experience - from recommending restaurants and activities options, to making sure we had water and were comfortable while traveling, to ensuring we remained safe while traversinf some tricky spots on the trail where there was still snow and ice. Adriana is quick to respond and very organized. She quickly stood out as the best from other firms I initially inquired. You can be confident in a great trip and amazing experience with Balkan Tales.

I have been in correspondence with Adriana for several weeks as our group has kept changing priorities and needs. She has courteously replied to my never-ending questions and quickly drawn up revised itineraries that met our new requirements. She has even been charming about our not moving forward with any of these ideas due to illness.

We started our journey in Dubrovnik. Our drive’s name was Gino. He gave us an exclusive service. He was very accommodating, spoke multi languages, took care of us, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. He arranged all local tour guides and accompanied us during all our tours or was waiting for us at the designated spots. On top of all of this Gino is an excellent driver, we felt very safe and comfortable.

We loved traveling with Adriana. Her help, knowledge, and fun personality allowed us to enjoy the Balkans in a much deeper way than we ever could have on our own. It was like traveling with a good friend that was from the area! Not only Adriana, but all of her colleagues that joined us throughout the trip. The local guides that were arranged for more specific tours were all fantastic. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us around and answering even our strangest questions. We were there for 17 days, through 4 countries. In that time what we learned was that we wished for more time in each place. But, Balkan Tales made all of the traveling and transitioning through so many different locations go smoothly and fun. Even changing plans when we found something more that we wanted to see (amazing street art murals in Cacak, Serbia. Even meeting some of the artists). Would highly recommend. And a huge thank you to Adriana, Graciella, Jovan, Janes, Lydia, Ina, and all those who we traveled with along the way.

By way of introduction, I am Marie and currently based here in Dubai. My friends and I are thinking of going to Romania by the end of this month. I'm just wondering if you offer private tours in Romania and Bulgaria by private car or you know anyone who does that? We are a group of 3. We are planning to stay for 7 days - we will be available from August 24 in the afternoon to August 29. August 30 in the afternoon will be our flight. I've searched for places to visit and are as follow:
Bucharest, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Timisoara, Gursi Aumruli and in Bulgaria Arbanassi, Velika Tarnovo, Plovdiv and Sofia.
