I just had 2 days in Sofia, so I knew I had to get the best out of it! Our group had Mitko has a guide and it was perfect! Mitko explained us all about bulgarian culture, as well as gave a lot of tips for our day ahead. It was a very cold and snow day, but he was always careful about our comfort. I totally recommend the tour! Also, as a plus, you get to know some people along the way :)

I was in Sofia for only 2 days and it was the best thing I could have done. I learnt so much of Bulgarian culture, traditions, and monuments. Mitkos, was my guide and he replied without hesitation to all the questions I made him. The only thing I will criticise is that there were 3 people on the tour who smoked. It´s a lack of respect to smoke even if it´s in an open area for people who might have respiratory or cardiovascular pathologies, as well, as there could be pregnant women or children in the tour. In any case, living in COVID times it should be forbidden that any in the tour will smoke for the sake and health of the people and trying to stop the spread of it. Apart from this small suggestion that could be improved, the rest was excellent. I highly recommend it.

This specialised city tour far exceeded our expectations. Vasco was a very enthusiastic tour guide and imparted a great deal knowledge about Bulgaria’s Communist past. Don’t miss this tour. It’s tremendous value for money for those who are interested in this period in time.
