Went to Bulgaria v Montenegro.
Easy to get to. Police stop and search everyone. Even the 60+ tourists!
Id needed to get through checkpoints. Police do not go to charm school here.!
Fences around the pitch which was a throwback. Fixed plastic seats and crumbling steps.
Little kiosks on site selling dry drinks etc. Seemed to be plenty of toilets.

Visited this stadium for the football; the entrance to the stadium is cramped; the facilities for food and drink was limited; the stadium had no roofing and it needed upgrading.
Its seen better times. And trying to get out after the game was a joke.

This stadium is amazing. The seats aren’t the best but the experience is amazing. During the matches the experience and the environment is amazing. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Classic old stadium, with nothing to offer. It's ok to visit it if you are football fan, and that's it.

Location is good, so if you are touring Sofia, you are not going to miss it.

A bit faded from its former past glory days. The gardens around the stadium need a bit of work. It was great looking around at all the statues that made you think back to the past golden era although when exactly that was in Bulgarian footbalI, I am not too sure. The name Puskas rang a bell but I am sure he was Hungarian. Hristo Stoichkov that was him. The whole place had that Russian drab but historical feel. Excuse me I think I need to listen to some Tchaikovsky.

this is the biggest stadium in sofia, surrounded by a big garden, easily accessible by underground or trams

My twin brother Stephen and I visited the Vasil Levski National Stadium as we explored the area around Borisova Gradina and although there was no football match on we did visit the cafe bar in the stadium which was very nice indeed.
The stadium itself looks really good ,a good modern stadium from what I could see ,the floodlights are amazing, it's to me very similar to other stadiums I've seen in former communist countries, I liked it.
We worth checking out if your planning a holiday to Sofia.

Here with england for the Euro qualifier. Great stadium, if a little light on comfort facilities... shame that the atmosphere is blighted by a few of the local ultras hurling abuse at Raheem Sterling.

This is just a play ground nothing to see.Not a tourist attraction at all. You will see it on your tour of the city.
