Unfortunately I had to cancel this tour because I was ill (and we all know that during this pandemic situation we can't take any risk, not for ourselves and not for the others). We agreed on doing the tour on another day, but unfortunately after my cancellation all the communication stopped and I didn't receive responses to my messages. So at the end, I didn't do any tour and I didn't get a refund either. I was only told that the touroperator didn't feel any responsibility. So if you are looking for a friendly touroperator with good communication skills than I can't recommend this one. But the tour might be awesome, I have no idea.

Went in February. I'll go over the positives - in the winter there's not a lot of tourists, and the wait time at the border is not long. I am indeed a self loathing tourist. Our tour guide, Mikhail, was amazing. Super friendly, good driver, and really knew the history of his country and the surrounding Balkans. I love when tour guides tell you the good and bad moments of their history The only negative is, well, in winter it's pretty cold. Great experience from start to finish.

This is a place not to be missed. It has a certain about of charm and the artistry on the wall is immense/ strikingly beautiful. We went to the Rila Monastery and the Boyana trip for as the wine tasting tour is out of season at the moment. Michael the tour guide looked after us and explained the history of the place. We went in February and it even snowed. They also stop for lunch at a quaint restaurant that had a fire. Try the fresh trout if you like fish. Definitely a lovely trip to go on.

A long day (4 hours each way) but so very enjoyable! We were collected by our Guide Ivan, who was super professional & knowledgable, whilst also friendly. A great combination & our group of 3 girls felt very safe in his company. The drive was very pretty once off the Highway & it was lovely to see some of the Bulgarian/North Macedonian countryside. Ivan was flexible with pitstops according to needs. Skopje is a really interesting place to visit. So much history & it retains a more Eastern feel than its neighbour. The post earthquake regeneration is pretty impressive, certainly a lot of statutes to admire! Lunch was very pleasant & I loved seeing where Mother Teresa was born. If you have time whilst in Sofia, this is a great way to spend a day & get a taste of another country. Recommended.
