This company is absolutely horrible!
We have paid for Renault Megane or similar and what we were given was a 12 years old dirty, scratched car that was not safe at all. The brakes were making noise, the interior was falling apart, there were missing handles and an awful smell.

I called them an hour after we picked it up and they agreed to exchange it two days later. We had to travel all the way to the place we were staying (60 miles) and then we had to come back to exchange. So they have wasted three days of our holiday.

The car we were given the second time was the promised Renault Megane.

We thought everything is fine now but we were surprised with a €400 charge at the airport for two pre-existing scratches. No proof provided. The guy who came to collect the key went straight to these two places like he was looking for them. It was obvious that he was instructed to find a fault.

Our deposit was “released” they said, but we haven’t seen our money yet.

Avoid this company at all cost.

I had the worst experience renting a car ever, similar to the other negative comments at arrival they told me they have given our car to someone else and ask for more money for a replacement. On return they told us the car is fine and we will receive our deposit back within 48 hours which never happened, A week after when i called they claimed the car was examined again after i left and they found damage that they can not provide information about or how much it cost/receipt for repairs. When things got serious they stopped responding. Easyrent car uses the excuse of addcar you deal with but at the same time they cal them ''partners'' and your money has been deducted from EasyRent, their name is on the receipt and contract you sign and if you take your concern with add car further they direct you to Easyrent anyway. Also the deposit for the car they charge as a real transaction not as holding/preautorised deposit.

I would never recommend!

Mr. PETAR PETKOV IVANOV, it is very unworthy for you to open accounts under different user names and write from every each a negative review, using them to lie our audience with a lot of FAKE negative votes against our company. Let all colleagues (rent a car companies) meet your names, so they can prevent possible future damage to their image, caused by your practice of lying and blackmail.

They charged me 600 € for damage that was done by someone else without providing evidence or receipt for the real cost of the repair.

As a consolation for taking my money for no good reason, they offered a deposit waiver at the next rental - a bad joke!

The service is terrible and the attitude to customer is very disparaging.

Do not be tempted because the attractive prices in the end it will cost you much more.

Very disappointed!!!!

I do NOT recommend renting a car from this company! I should have read the other reviews before booking. I made the reservation online two months in advance. Paid $50 for reserving the car, and few hours later I received a phone call from the company owner - Daniel, asking me for my credit card number, so he can charge the full rate plus some kind of deposit fee equal to more than the full rate, that he said he will put back on the credit card in few days. (Never heard of that before.) So, he charged me double, more than $2000. A month later, no money was returned, so I start calling him and asking him to release the hold, according to what he promised. There were a lot of excuses, he is on vacation, he returned the "hold" and I just have to wait, it's the weekend (by the way, he charged me on a weekend). Finally after countless phone calls and texts, he returned most of the money. Still haven't returned all the money! Save yourself the troubles, and don't rent from this company!

Dear Miroslava, Yes, we called you and OFFERED you to pay the whole amount of your reservation, as you was paid only 5% and you ACCEPTED it! There is nothing terrible and unusual here! After that you decided to cancel your reservation and soon the FULL PAYMENT was refunded you (and we can proof it )! If you are not introduced (as it looks) the bank needs a time to process the refund, moreover they have a commissions for any transaction ! Your cancellation is for your wishes and there is a procedure we have to keep! Your story is full of lies, as on the top of them is that you still waiting for some money . What a SHAME ! 🤕 Should be nice if you ask in your bank to recalculate these transactions, as you can not to do it ( just for your peace)

A catastrophic service which was made worse by outrageous lies.
We waited for our cars for about 4 hours because they were not there. However, the provider constantly claimed that there were problems regarding Corona.
After about two hours they tried to offer us a bus saying that we had no chance to cross the border. They tried to prove this with some videos of a supposed "health minister", which does not exist. The offer of the bus was made to us until we got to the parking garage.
When we were in the parking garage, we were first given a vehicle. The other has not yet arrived, but we were not told. After about 30 minutes, a customer drove into the garage with our car. We could still hear the employee asking the customer if everything was ok with the car. Two minutes later we were told that this was our car. When we looked at it from the inside, there were food remains and a melted chocolate bar on it. When we approached the employee about the car being dirty, he just said that it couldn't be.
We have not received the promised refund of a daily rate to this day after asking several times.

For this reason, I can unfortunately no longer recommend this company, because the quality is no longer given.

Rented an X5 on 24 December till 6 Jan for Lev 3,874. in addition to Lev 6,000 as a deposit. On 27 Dec, I informed the company that I got a service msg and I need to replace the car and look into alternatives as the car rear wipers also needed change. Company accepted and offered me an alternative car (Porche Cayane) and we extended the contract till 31 Jan 2021 for an additional Lev 6,695 with an option of full refund of any unused days and the amount was blocked from my account. On 30th Dec 2020, I informed the Company that I intend to return the car and head back home due to an emergency and will return it as soon as I secure a ticket back home. The Company debited the full amount immediately. I returned the Car on 3rd Jan 2021. Company officials refused to provide a refund slip and promised to provide the same before the end of day and informed me that the contract refund will take place post few approvals from management in contrast to what have been informed and documented at the time of singing off the rental contract. After continuous follow up, I have received only Lev 2000 as of today (10 days after return of the car, and the attitude of the Company official has completely changed. I had no option but to hire a local lawyer to assist with this matter as I have not received any accurate feedback on the refund so far.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. They are so rude, unhelpful and will never use again.

They were 1 hour 45 minutes late when we arrived. They left a family out in the snow while they tried to find a car for them. They had a baby with them!

They weren't helpful and everytime we spoke to ask where the keys were they ignored us. We had to ask 3 times before they told us what was going on. They saw us waiting in the queue and still didnt say anything.

One of the staff literally shouted at me when I said I'm not the driver and they said do you want me out in the cold?? But you're fine to leave a baby outside in the cold.

On our way back the card would not let us in, no one was at the desk (10am)

The gut left us waiting while on his phone. The guys in the carpark pretty much told us to go away when th4 card to enter car park didnt work.

Its cheap but useless.

Worst experience ever (revised). Booked a car, paid, waited for confirmation. Nothing arrived. 5 hours later managed to get someone on the phone and was told by a very cocky individual that there were no cars available. The company operative stated that I should know that even if I book and be charged for the service that will not guarantee me a car. Apparently that was common knowledge and it is my fault that I have booked a car on the day I need it and expected to get one. After being stranded at Sofia airport with a wife and three children I found a friend to take me away. A day later after a conversation with a company manager named Daniel Datsov, I agreed to delete the bad review in exchange of a refund and 20% off from any future service. Here Easy Rent Bulgaria showed its true colours as I am still waiting for a refund. At the time of writing, it has been 14 days and no refund has appeared which makes me think that legal action will be the only option if I want to see my money back. Again, worst car hire ever!

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I used the Sofia Airport Terminal 2 Location. Pay slightly more and go with a reputable car rental agency, there is a reason this place is cheaper.

Where do I begin? When you arrive they will ask you to provide your ID and passport and pull up your reservation. They will soon try to upsell you on a vehicle (normal process for most rental agencies), but they are a bit pushier than usual. I denied the upgrade, but the two men at the front desk began speaking in a different language and soon after I was informed that because I arrived 1 hour later than the time I requested to pickup the car, my reservation was now invalid. They informed me that my car is no longer available (I booked 8:30am technically and arrived just after 9:30am) and now my only option is to upgrade for 100 euros, or forfeit the amount I paid towards the reservation. After trying to reason with the person, I was bluntly told I should read the terms and conditions next time. It was very clear they were just trying to take advantage and force me to pay for an upgrade. I even asked if I could speak with a manager and I was told they are not here, so no I cannot.

After debating whether or not to just cancel and go somewhere like Hertz, I ultimately decided to pay the 100 euro for the upgrade, as I did not want to waste the money I already paid for the initial reservation.

Upon receiving the vehicle the low tire pressure warning lights were on and it had half a tank of gas. I asked if the tire pressure could be filled, as this was concerning leaving with a car with warning lights on, and they said no, and not to worry about it.

Ultimately, I learned my lesson. I'll never use a slightly cheaper local company again, which is sad, as I typically attempt to use a smaller local brand. But after this terrible ordeal and horrendous customer service, I can strongly suggest to use anyone other than Easy Rent Bulgaria.

I rented a BMW X5 last summer with Easy Rent, airport, terminal 2. At first i booked Tuareg and the person who was helping me upsell to the BMW X5, which i really liked. I rented it for a month and 2 weeks later i rented it again for about a month(they did not want to give me the depoait back which i pay cash). This is where my bad experience with them begun. Instead of treating returning customer with respect it was exactly the opposite. The day i took the car for the second time i got a call from Daniel Dacov who explained there was an insurance issue and i should bring the car asap to them for fixining that issue. Well i was 400km away from Sofia already and the closest place for me would be Varna, i explained. He said if i can bring it there to an DZI insurance company and someone will be expecting me there and the car will be ready in a hour. I went there, completely out of my way, to find out DZI insurance company has nothing to do with EasyRent. After i called Daniel Dacov he said ' its Armeetz insurance company' but it took him half an hour to figure this out and imagine me waiting at the car park, and he didn't bother to even say sorry for sending me at the wrong place. So i go to Armeetz and they had no idea somebody is coming and i had to go trough car wash, car check and all sort of staff nesessery for full Casko. I rent a car so i don't have to go trough this things, howerer i had no choice because if the car gets stollen it will be my responsibility, Dacov said. So i spend a good few hours that day, then next day i had to bring the car to another place so they could place the tracking chip. So i wasted 2 days of my holiday dealing with this, i bearly got a thank you!! No compensation in any way!
So this year i tought i will contact them again and see what kind of offer i can get for another mont, they were keep on insisting to call me even tholl i explained i prefer email comunication, they were calling, they were sending emails insising for a phone call and on top of that addressing me with wrong name on absolutely every email. I will only say to Easy Rent thank you, but No thank you! And for all of you readung this they are not that Easy.
