Lovely gallery to stop in after the Cathedral

After you visit the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, walk around toward Sofia University. On your way, you will encounter the National Academy of Arts. This gallery most frequent includes exhibits by academy faculty and gives a wonderful sense of Bulgarian contemporary art. And ... it's free. Ivan Dimov's paintings now on display pay tribute to Bulgarian literary figures with bright colors mixing modern and folk scenes. I am looking forward to seeing what comes up next.
