Pleasant walk

There is a nice flat paved walking and bike path on the eastern side of the lake, near where the dam is. Nice views but not essential. We didn't go in the public swimming area. Other than walk around the lake, I'm not sure what else there is to do there.

Perfect place for relaxation.

Great place for a walk. You can go by car or public transport. Many from Sofia are their favorite place to walk.
After the walk you can eat something delicious in the many restaurants around.
Fishing can also be practiced.

Patience, nature, relax

A place in Sofia for being closer to nature. It's great for relax, having fun and being iut for a cup of coffee, beer, chat with friends, see the farm animals, take the kids to a real natural invironment, have a sport, ets.

A good idea for relax in the nature!

Pancharevo Lake is a very beautiful and there you can go for relax. It is appreciate to go at the weekends, because then there are so many people around. The pics are from 20.05.2017 and 22.09.2019.

A Great Place for A Pleasant Walk

Pancharevo Lake has several walking / biking trails as well as a paved walking / biking area that provides a very comfortable service to exercise and enjoy pleasant views. Whether you a very fit and looking for a challenging route to run / hike or just wish to have relaxing walk Pancharevo Lake can provide the opportunity for both. There is a mineral swimming pool nearby too - it is open year round.

Man made lake?!

I was surprised to know that this is a man made lake..the lake us very big and well maintained., there is a gentleman there who organises the rides at a very minimal cost. You are provided with safety jackets and you go a pedalling in the boats on the lake.. its a good way to exercise your legs and spend an evening. Just having fun in the middle of the lake.
I really enjoyed this lake and the atmosphere here ..lovely

Don't go to Korali swimming pool

Pancharevo lake is OK, nothing special, but swimming pool Korali by the lake it's just horrible and very dirty.

Very nice area

The lake is located just 20 minutes from the Center of Sofia. The area is full of bars and restaurants, as well as open air leisure activities. I recommend it.

Pancharevo lake. For those who know...

Only a few km outside Sofia a lake where you can relax eat drink and swim in the new swimming pool.
Also romantic atmosphere for dates.
All seasons destination.
