The city hall has been re built and is beautiful inside. There is a lot of information regarding Sarajevo siege and they don't hold back on the facts with photos (very disturbing in some parts) but there history needs to be told.

I think that this building is interesting architecturally, as the Ottoman patterns and colors are eye-catching, but most rooms and the city assembly areas are not much. There is an exhibit of sentenced politicians with a few graphic pictures that are quite well done.

Love the architecture must visit. There is Fee to enter, but not too expensive. You can walk freely inside from exhibit to another.

What a magnificent building. A must visit in Sarajevo
It is amazing how they were able to restore it to it's beauty, after it was destroyed in the war.

the city hall is within easy walking distance from the Latin bridge. What is funny is the stubborn house owner who demanded that is house to be rebuilt exactly like before. ( his house had to be moved for the City Hall ). So, the part of the house which had a great view of the river. Now has a great view of the street.

This triangular building is a site to see, quite beautiful built in the moorish style In the 1800’s. During the Siege of Sarajevo, it was heavily damaged, after a long restoration the building is back to its former glory

I've viewed Vijećnica many times from the street, but recently finally made my way inside. I was left speechless by the ornate and grand interior. The beauty of this building can be truly appreciated when compared to photographs of its state before reconstruction. There is also a museum covering the history of Sarajevo in the basement. Very few of the exhibits are in English, but still worth the visit. 10 km to enter, and worth it!
