About
Sarajevo's favorite music shop offers a unique mix of music, music themed gifts and fashion, with London brands Cocorose London and Azuni London, and official merchandise of Balkan music star Dino Merlin. Magaza's premises are located in the heart of Sarajevo's Old Town. Our friendly and English speaking staff will help you find just the right selection of the region's best traditional music and help you pick out the perfect gifts for your loved ones. The first and second floor of the building are dedicated to language learning and house the region's first and only Callan Accredited School.

I had been looking for a perfect gift for my mother's birthday for a long time and I was delighted when I found out about Magaza. It is a concept store in the heart of the Old Town, where finding a gift for anyone is a piece of cake. The store offers a wide range of products to choose from, successfully combining both music and fashion.
It's been an extremely positive experience, and I would definitely recommend Magaza to anyone.

Magaza is definitely the best music shop in town, a very rare one which did not follow the explosion of bad taste from which music scene in ex-Yugoslavia suffers: so-called "turbo-folk". Here it is still possible to find classical music & opera CDs and DVDs, chansons, as well as musical instruments

Everytime I have someone visiting Sarajevo who is interested in the music of the country or the region, I recommend Magaza as it has an amazing collection and taste for Bosnian music and sevdah (traditional Bosnian love songs). The store itself is owned by the biggest pop star of Bosnia (Dino Merlin) who's albums I really recommend (especially "Sredinom"), but you should also look at their sevdah collection - you can find old, classic, evergreen songs of Bosnia (Safet Isović, Himzo Polovina, Hanka Paldum) as well as their contemporary interpretations (Amira Medunjanin, Halka, Divanhana, Božo Vrećo). A trully great store where you can have something which will remind you of Bosnia and Sarajevo every time you put the CD on.

I have visited Sarajevo several times but this time I discovered Magaza. What a discovery! It is easy to fall in love with sevdah music and if you want to take some home with you then Magaza is the place to go. Owned by the local and world renowned singing star Dino Merlin. Best selection of traditional music CD's and of course Dino's music and other international artists. Plus musical instruments, T shirts and other Dino Merlin souvenirs. If you are lucky he may even be in the shop when you visit.
