Bascarsija is the most authentic part of the city and it always leaves its visitors satisfied. There are plenty cafes and restaurants around which also present the cultural and historic symbols of old Bosnian tradition. Local shops offer a variety of jewlery and authentic souvenirs.
When anyone visits Sarajevo they will spend most of their time in the old city. There are some sights outside the old city but it mostly happens inside.
